The Allied Dauntless is left to proceed on its way as the first round sees no fatalities.

The Axis decide to abort the combat.

Both sides elect to continue the fight but the combatants lose contact with each other (Searches: Axis 6, Allies 3).

No air missions.

German rail move: Helsinki MIL from Karelia to Oulu.

Italian rail move: Venice MIL from Trieste to Messina.

China/Manchuria post Japanese land moves.

Germany and Italy moves units in Spanish/French border.

Helsinki MIL was not railed to Oulu, but I rather not do all land moves again. I can rail it next impulse (if turn ends we can give both sides extra impulse so that initiative goes right and only rail that MIL). If that is not OK I can rail it next turn.

Japan disembarks INF to Seoul and the other two units (ART and AA gun) to Port Arthur.

Germany launches 2 land attacks.

Stalino 32:3 = Automatic.
[58,56] in Crimea 32:14 Blitz +4 (2 disorg units, AT gun defending, 4 attacking ARM/MECH units) Manstein leads the attack using HQ support.

Germany sends Bf110 (3 tactical factors) for ground support in Crimea combat.

Does USSR want to send any planes? Germany can intercept to both combats with 6 factor fighters.

I like that too. I wish I had 10 of them... Only red circle in bottom left corner is missing, then it would be perfect.

The Allies perfected the idea, and the Panzers paid the price.

Bf110 lays some eggs on disorganized USSR troops. Meanwhile Manstein orders attack to begin with "all resources available" rolling 3 for HQ support.

Stalino was automatic and the other attack goes well too.

For those who wonder, I considered to convert result to retreat, but decided to choose this.

Which unit is shattered? And where do you want to rebase LND anf FTR after breakthough?

The anti-tank is shattered. The aircraft fly (if possible) to:

FTR - (60,64)
LND - Sukumi

Thank-you

One disadvantage of playing games on the computer is that you can't pick up the dice and throw them across the rooms. (I never did that, but one of my opponents did once.)

You should have retreated the whole stack straight east, where it would have never escaped, ultimately. Maybe depending on the sea supply situation here.

And the Russians could have flown those aircraft, gotten at least a shot at the wonder-Wulfe plane at least, as they were about to be overrun anyway. Maybe depending on the longer rebase range for the FTR when overrun here.

I suppose you could always throw the computer across the room but that does tend to get a bit expensive. Perhaps just the mouse?

I forgot to mention rebase missions:

Germany rebases 3 fighters to front line (1 in north and 2 in south).

Italians rebase NAV from Genoa to 75,40 on Sicily.

And who knows, if you get the first impulse that gives you a double move. But then it depends on the weather too..... Nothing in WIF is predictable or straightforward - it's why replayability is limitless .

I have personally witnessed that my opponent in a Squad Leader game went to his shed to get his toolskit. After opening it, he used a hammer to destroy the dice. The reason: he rolled three times a "12" in a row when rallying his units...

There is no real reason to get mad here. When summer is shortest possible (M/J and J/A ends on first possible moment) you can get angry to dice.

It's all part of a transformational leadership cultural exchange programme. The Italians swap four reverse and one forward gear for the Bushido code. The Japanese get pizza, pasta, Chianti and opera in return for a better human rights record.

I get the oil cost for Italy to reorganize all the units except the two cruiser to 1.5 or 2 oil. Do you want to reorganize all the units for two oil or reorganize one less unit for 1 oil? If so, what unit should remain disorganized?
