I'm doing some experimenting with my modified 19th century database. I posted in the tech forum yesterday about it, in regards to when saving a .eqp file and not changing the name at all, it creates a new file adding an extra .eqp to it. The way to resolve it is to remove the old files and rename the latest one back to the original name. It still tells you you're playing with the wrong equipment file when you aren't. That is not that bad of a problem, just annoying when you're building a new DB essentially. A much bigger problem I'm running into is saving 5 changes to an equipment and 3 of them staying saved and 2 of them reverting back to some sort of default number. I change this equipment to this, setting the anti-personnel to 110 (which is 13) and the armor to 3cm, the anti-armor to 11 and the defense to 10. I also edited the name some. I click 'save as' for the eqp file and save it with the same name I've always used. And here we are saved with: anti-personnel 13 Anti-armor 11 Defense Strength 10 Armor 3 I go straight to the game and play test for a bit and come right back to the scenario and it tells me I have the wrong .eqp file. And now I see this The name change has stayed, the armor has stayed, none of the attributes to the right have changed, but the defense strength has reverted to 5 and the anti-personnel strength has changed to 14, but when I open it up, it still says 110. I go to my save folder, delete any .epq file but the most recent, fix it's name from all the odd characters or extra .eqp's it adds and reload and it still says wrong eqp file. (I'm using graphics override folder and the .eqp matches the scenario name exactly) And I still have half my changes saved, half reverted. Can anyone help me out with this issue please? I'm really close to getting the combat to play out with this experimental 'armor' for personnel thing to help simulate rate of fire and firepower differences and to create a lot more 'disabled' than there are dead. But this .eqp bug is making it impossible when I'm editing several dozen new pieces of equipment.
