Eugene of Savoy was probably the greatest soldier of his age and did much of the heavy lifting during the war of the Spanish Succession. When you play the game from the anti-Bourbon side, you'll find yourself using him a lot. To learn more about Eugene, check out his wiki article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Eugene_of_Savoy My only major disagreement with the graphic presentation of the game has to do with the desktop icon. The graphics department was trying to come up with a symbol that encapsulates the idea of both the Great Northern War and the War of the Spanish Succession, at the same time. I'm not sure if that's possible or even desirable. The crown symbol used as a desktop icon lacks resonance. I think it would have been better to use a well-known image of a bewigged general like Eugene. There were some pretty spectacular wigs on the battlefield in those days. I've focused on Eugene because he fought all over Europe, his wigs were very good, and he was channeling Allen Cummings. So for anyone who wants to put big hair back into the War of the Spanish Succession, here's a link to an icon that can be used instead of the crown. https://app.box.com/s/rztnzodnytid3vn9yr469v0iycmessgj HOW TO INSTALL AND USE THE ICON Although it doesn't really matter all that much where you keep the downloaded icon, the best place for it is probably inside the Wars of Succession game folder near the application files. Once you have it in place, go to your desktop and right-click on the Wars of Succession short-cut. You'll get a menu, and the last item on that menu should be 'Properties'. Left-click on 'Properties' and you'll get a pop-up. About two-thirds of the way down the pop-up you'll see three tabs, and the middle one will read 'Change Icon'. Left-click on 'Change Icon' and Browse to where you have the game installed (or where you've stored the Eugene Icon). Select the Eugene Icon, click on Open, and don't forget to apply before you leave.
