ORIGINAL: fatgreta1066 Is there a workaround for this involving loading units from a file? There's a box to check on that screen that says don't check for DB compatibility. Could I create some units in the CWDB, save them to a file, then import them using that option? Well, technically, you can, but the unit IDs are not the same for each DB, so if you save a single unit airfield with an F-22 based at it, and load it into a scenario that uses the CWDB, it will become a Scud platoon. So, I do not think checking that box will work. Something will load, but because, for example, there is no F-22 in the CWDB, an F-22 won't load. And because a Single Unit Airfield with a 500m long runway has a different unit ID in the CWDB from the DB3000 variant, none of the units you save in the DB3000 will load correctly in the CWDB. You are welcome to try messing around with it though.
