July 14th 1917

Shadow Front: Romania starts to see that the Entente might win, swings to our side (85%). The two CP NM fall below 20% for each, the loss of the fortress city in Prussia was a hard blow for Germany.

Western Front:

France - More combat up and down the line as UK determines that Germany has few reserve's left behind the lines... over the top boys and lets finish this before the Yanks show up! Bloody weeks, one UK, Fr IC lost, one UK Tank destroyed, 3 GE IC and 1 DT wiped out.

Italy - Strong AH units make contact with the old IT line now that Trieste is firmly in their hands, It and AH trade one IC.

Atlantic - The Grand Fleet is slipping ships into the Baltic.... slowly. Two Subs raiding the most southern convoy line.

Eastern Front:

Northern Russia - Germany heavily counters all the Russia units that are exposed, 1DT 2IC lost, the raiding Cav unit reduced to str 2. Russia dig's in and holds the ground they have gained in Prussia, the army's around Vilna pull back and prepare for an assault.

Southern Russia - Quiet, minor trench raids.

Baltic - UK units discover a blocking DD and sink it, the cats out of the bag... the Royal Navy is in the Baltic Sea.

July 28th 1917

Western Front:

France - With many Entente units exposed as they move across no mans land, the GE picks the weakest and destroys a Fr IC that was rushed to the front line. UK and French response is to dig in and reinforce the many units that are al below strength.

Italy - Quiet turn except the abandoned Italian DT is destroyed SE of Trieste.

Atlantic - About half the convoy duty ships are returning home, 3 raiding subs are still out there but all are located. A GE light CN finds the mine/subs blocking the Kiel cannel and is sunk.

Eastern Front:

All the Russia's - Quiet, minor trench raids. In the Baltic a solid line is forming as more UK ships enter the sea. On the Black Sea the coast of Bulgaria is scouted and found defenseless.

Balkan Front:

Greece, with the help of French SF, Serbian units, and UK troops from the middle east break out using a port on the northern coast.... Bulgaria falls back in surprise.

August 4th 1917 - A very bloody month

France - As has been going on for two years. Germany, France, and Britten have been trading IC near the city's of Nancy and Lille. This time its the loss of 1 UK, 2 Fr and 2 GE units destroyed.

Italy - AH digs deeper holes, Italy shifts units around to try and make a general push along the whole line before mud sets in.

Atlantic - 2 subs caught in the south and getting harassed by Fr, It, UK DD and one CN. A third subs escapes from the Spanish coast. Iceland blockade at 50%, North sea at 100%, the coast of the GE is locked down.

Northern Russia - Vilna falls to Germany, but the counter attack by Russia destroys two of the IC that are weakened and exposed outside of entrenchments.

Southern Russia - AH makes strong raids, supported by two AT but can not push back the well supported and located Russian units.

Baltic - Opening clash of the Grand and High Sea's fleet... 3 light GE units sunk.

Greece - Bulgaria falls back, the multi national army peruses to the old boarders.

August 25th 1917

Shadow Front - Romania now has roughly 4 diplomats from each Entente trying to bring her into the war! Each country is really starting to feel the effects of so much death, UK 75, Fr 51, It 84, Ru 40 / GE 11, AH 16. Russia, hard pressed in the war is starting to see revolts and strikes in much of the rear areas.

Western Front - More combat on the entire line, all side exchange IC for blood soaked ground... nothing changes.

Battle of the Baltic in its full context - One UK BB sunk, several GE Units sunk or heavily damaged.

Black Sea - Russia lands raiders in Bulgaria and takes the city of Varna. Hopefully this will convince Romania to join the Entente!

Shadow Front - Romania joins the Entente! Bulgaria, seeing the writing on the wall sues for peace, drops out of the war! UK and Fr both get several tech upgrades, this turn and last time... but 5 total. IW2, Gas, TW3, AC2, IT3... wow. National Moral Uk 78, Fr 48, It 82, Ru 37 / GE 1 AH 13.

Aftermath of the Battle of the Baltic - this broke the German sprit to continue the war. The Kiser abdicates after hearing his precious ships have been sunk (NM dropped from 5 to 1%)

September 22nd 1917

National Moral - UK 77, Fr 48, It 82, Ru 35 GE 0, AH 12

Germany signs terms, roughly one year before the historical date. The blockage worked, and with no unrestricted submarine warfare USA sits the war out as a neutral (18%).

I hope everyone enjoyed the AAR, I know there are more then a few mistakes above, I might fix a few if I do a reread. I'll post final thoughts in the second submission.

Any questions?

Thank you Iron Ranger for this AAR, I guess it will be worth reading for the SCWW1 fans. Congratulations for you bright victory. You have been daring and inovating, conducting devastating actions in the Middle East and at sea.

Despite good results in the Balkans and beside my poor results in the Middle East, I failed to weaken the Russians and the French soon enough. My technology level grew pretty good but I did not have the time to really enjoy it.

That's been a lot of fun anyway and I am glad to have fought this "war" to the end.

The breakthrough count was 2 for Central Powers, 3 for Entente.... breaking the line of the Ottoman Empire then routing the front and destroying several units changed the game in a decisive manor.
