Giving speed/depth to subs question - 3/28/2018 8:25:04 PM

Sorry to ask, but I am relatively new to the interface, and I found some troubles with the speed/depth-altitude menu (F2). Sometimes the scrolling bars for the respective speed and depth adjustments just disappear and the sub doesn't receive the orders whatsoever. I suppose that something I am doing is incorrect.
Please advise.
Thanks,
P.

That usually happens when you lose selection of the unit. Re-select it and it should be fine :).

I've notice that when that happens it's usually this......the highlighted sub has its path already set and you will see the YELLOW circle at the end of the path. You are issuing orders to take place at that point, where the YELLOW circle is. You believe (as I did) that the orders weren't being carried out, but it was. Our orders were being given (inadvertently) to the sub to take place at a different time.

As was already stated, just re-click on the unit and that will bring it back to where the sub is now.

That should fix the problem. If not, ask again. We'll figure it out.

That's no problem.

The important thing with this game is to have fun without having to actually "work" at having fun. <g>
