There is a Spitfire and some naval bombers (without strat bombing capability) in Liverpool. One LND2 and one NAV4 with limited strat bombing capability left. And Alexander (HQI) is available for reorganization.

Germany intercepts with Bf110 landing back to same hex where it starts.

Italy allows CW to try night bombing in snow fall, no interception.

Allies counter with a 9 and no effect. Allies stay. Will the German fighter remain as well?

There will now be a break for dinner with the family.

No thank you. Pilots return back to base, shooting all rounds to air on way back home and tell their superior they really did try everything until run out of ammo.

New Turn

Both sides roll 5 for the initiative. Alas, Axis has a positive bonus to the die roll and wins.

Axis won the initiative. The question now is whether they will move first in the turn, or not?

One CVL is damaged by the port strike. One BB becomes disorganized. (The target for the second 'D' result should be selected by Japan. And the target may be changed should Japan so desire)

A US transport fleet sail from San Diego to Polynesia. It is loaded with two marine divisions and two fighters.

US submarines sail for the China Sea, South China Sea, and Bismarck Sea. A Dutch submarine join up in the Bismarck Sea.

CW transporters sail for the Mozambique Channel, East Coast, Faeroes Gap, and Azanian Sea. They are loaded with TERR, LND3, FTR2, and MOT.

Plenty of convoy escort leave port. Two battle fleets sail for Cape St Vincent (0-box and 3-box). A US battleship join up in the 3-box.

US activates combat in the China Sea first. No Allied air reinforce the sea area. Plenty of Japanese aircraft can reinforce the sea area. Any takers?
