Well that was...interesting?! Had pushed the Allies into Iraq, had Rommel placed in Baghdad, an Italian HQ next to the city, 3 Italian armies south of the city, a German panzer to the NE, and the German recon NE of the panzer again. Then the event where the Allies supports a new ruler in Iraq fires. So far so good. However. The event immediately removes Rommel from the game (and although he was in supply I was unable to rebuy him at a discount), removes all ZoC from all Axis units, then lets the AI get the first move. So, I lose control of Baghdad, lose Rommel, and ALL Axis units exercise no ZoC, which means they are all cut off from supply, and all set to 0 supply, which also means all units have a move of 1 hex the following turn. Kinda harsh I would say. Is this how you envisioned this event to progress? Would it not be more appropriate that my units took damage instead (like the "Axis advance on Cairo"-event)? As it is, I think I might have just lost the Middle East and North Africa, not because of my tactics, but because an event just cost me aprox 2k MPPs... Terje
