I move in tanks and report that front line units think they have a good pocket.

small haul but better than no haul.

well at least winter is almost over....think the loss of 2 motorized and the couple infantry formations is going to hurt abit in 1942 as those units will still be worthless CV wise for quite awhile not to mention the permanent losses.

A word of warning.

If you are not careful with the fatigue rating of your fighters, HardLuck will abuse them again and again until there are none left...

I think your sentence should be past tense.

I am already low in fighters. Some groups have no planes to swap into. Some 40 groups are down to 6 or 7. I might have another fighter report soon.

This will end up being a bad issue for me and so lopsided that it could tilt the future course of events. 1943 issue.

If needed you can swap fighters in your group to prior version. It's better to have 40 Bf109B than 0 Bf109G

1942 is will be interesting

It seems crazy that the Soviets are near Z-town in Feb 42.

If Brian makes a breakthrough early on and carries that through with continued breakthroughs in the first half of 42 until he can replenish his armour and won't need to rely on his air assets so much so he can regain a lot of ground and do well in 42

Any kind of sustained brawling though and it could compound his disadvantages and turn defensive later in 42

could not figure out all this recon. I think all my tanks are on the front line. Hyla should know better.

Must have been worried about a surprise surround again.

My reputation precedes me. Sort of like Rommel. Allies all worried over nothing.

Open up north

Russian recon I noticed the recon around Smolensk.

Is that checking on Germans for tanks or for future Russian offensive planning

weather report:

mostly snow but odd southern blizzard will hamper operations. I assume that blizzard penalties still apply in March 42?

clearly Leningrad has to be on my thoughts for the first half of 42. I take this hex to be on the north side of the river
