Nice, the new FOW mechanism looks interesting to play. An example here:

I think Panzer Corps is a lower echelon on the cale of action. Like comparing bnattalion/regimnent with division and corps.

That's me recollecting, and not taking the time to actually go look :)

I mentioned this game earlier. I'm thinking of getting it myself.

Question: which are the differences respect Panzer Corps?

Panzer Corps has more variety of units and focus is on having a right collection of units against right enemy units: rock-paper-scissors. Unity of Command has less different units. Main ones are: infantry, mechanized, tank with some variations (reinforced with ATG or heavy tanks) and little else (jäger, cavalry). Focus is on maneuver, encirclement, and securing/denying supply lines.

Both are good games in little different ways. I recommend you to look at game play videos on YouTube and also make a comparison to Order of Battle.

Look interesting, too bad there isn't one for the Pacific Campaign.

They would need to develop a naval engine first.

Huh, really?

Here I thought they would only need new counters and stats for the ships

All you need to do is play the naval DLCs for Order of Battle (or that other new Pacific General esque game) and you'll see why reskinning a land warfare game into a naval warfare game is generally a bad idea.
