Despite Germany's massive production, the Allies are outproducing the Axis by 40 build points, helped along by Japan's strategic woes.

Also: it's 1944 - super exciting! Congratulations on having got both game and AAR this far.

I noticed that there were no Japanese units in Formosa. What about the other places in the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere? It deosn't matter how many convoy points the Japanese have if the resource sites are in Allied control.

Sea lift capacity has been an issue with demands for China Asia, Malaysia/Burma, NEI, etc. Last turn the Japanese lost Truk and Kwaj to the allies. So, you're correct when implying that the Japanese better put some units in Formosa. Not sure the allies can reach it quite yet, but their getting close.

The units the Russians need in 1944 is their Artillery, particularly the self-propelled types. The ability to execute a Ground Strike, without using an air mission for that or to �re-base�, as well as being re-org�d for one point in a land impulse, is all priceless in a rolling mobile offensive. Operation Bagration is only 3 turns away. The historical Hitlerites never recovered.

Unfortunately, Uncle Joe has neglected to gear up and build his artillery. He's been so focused on building up his army masses that he's completely overlooked artillery.

Actions. Japan - naval, Germany - land, Italy - land.

The Pacific. IJN. IJN's naval goals this impulse/turn are:
(1) Restore supply/production convoys (especially in the South China Sea).
(2) Put troop task forces out to sea (China Sea) for Formosa, Okinawa, China and The Philippines.
(3) Get ASW patrols and escorts out into the China and South China Seas.
(4) Sortie "defense" strike task force into the Bismarck Sea.
(5) Send out I-boat flotilla pickets to disrupted USN supply to the Bismarck and Coral Seas.
