Seems that the earlier MH/HH-53H "Super Jolly" / Pave Low I and II are not included in the database.

The #4731 and #4732 CH-53C Yasur are missing the probe refueling property, despite the fact that these specific variants of the CH-53 do have a refueling probe.

#4732 CH-53 Yasur 2025 with refueling probe visible

#4731 CH-53 Yasur 2000 with refueling probe visible

All variants of the P-8 Poseidon are missing the Fly-By-Wire property. The aircraft is a militarized variant of the 737-800, of which has a fly-by-wire flight control system.

Sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_737_Next_Generation , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9SyLzJQxHI (video of flight operations) , https://www.boeing.com/defense/maritime-surveillance/p-8-poseidon/index.page (Boeing themselves)

737-800 most definitely does not have fly-by-wire controls, but the primary flight control system is very classical mechanically controlled, hydraulically actuated system. The ailerons and elevators can even be operated without hydraulics - somewhat exceptional these days.

I doubt the P-8 would be significantly different in its flight control system.

You're correct, I believed that CMANO classified fly-by-wire as aircraft that have digitally assisted flight controls and not just fully computer controlled true fly-by-wire as I thought that the C-5m Super galaxy was classified as having that property in the database, as it turns out this was not the case as I had accidentally selected another aircraft on the list when I viewed the properties. So disregard that specific comment.

However, I will replace it with the fact that all variants of the Boeing 777 do not have the fly-by-wire property, despite the fact that they were Boeing's first commercial aircraft to have such a system.

At some point after 1995 (the latest one in the database) Saudi F-15Cs #922 were updated to carry AIM-120s. Do not have specifics on when this update took place or the variant of AIM-120.

I've been struggling for the past few days trying to find information on this. The best I have found is that the F-15Cs may have been upgraded under the 2011 deal that also sold the Saudis new F-15SA and upgraded their 70 F-15S aircraft to the SA standard. Thats all I found but fundamentally they could have integrated the AIM-120 onto their F-15C/D aircraft as soon as they purchased them. The AIM-120 was built to be an easy upgrade to sparrow equipped aircraft so it would just be a software upgrade and the missiles were sold with software and material support. My best guess is that they upgraded their F-15C/D aircraft in 2003-2005 when they first started recieving AIM-120s

Oh boy you are going to hate me for this. Today I have a large list of Iranian equipment missing from the DB.

SSMs:
Fateh-313: derivative of Fateh 110 new features include a composite body instead of aluminium and motor modifications increase the range to 500km, otherwise identical to Fateh-110. IOC unknown but post 2015 reveal likely in service 2016-2017.
Fajr-3: multi stage missile range is estimated to be upwards of 2500km. Uses 3 MIRVs unknown size of each warhead.
Zelzal-3: zelzal-2 derivative but less successful than the Fateh-110. Range estimated to be 200-250km. IOC 2007
Qadri: anti ship cruise missile appears to be nearly identical to the C-802 in appearance but claims to have a 300km range with a larger 200kg warhead. Notably the official features the Iranians published claim a range of "over 200km" So let's call it 250. IOC post 2011
Ya-Ali: an air launched cruise missile looks like the love child of a Tomahawk and an ADM-160 MALD-J. Range purported to be 700km. Likely used in recent attack on Saudi oil facilities. Launch platform is reported as being every aircraft they have which based on size is possible for everything except maybe the SkyGuards. IOC sometime after 2015.
Hoveyzeh: first unveiled in early 2019 it seems to be a derivative or upgrade of the Soumar missile. Has a reported range of 1350km but if it is a Soumar derivative this range is likely much higher as it is based on the Kh-55. IOC unknown likely 2020-2021

SSM corrections:
Sejjil-2: sejjil-2 is a new missile from Ashoura. It is a 2 stage ballistic missile with a range of 2000-2500km. IOC 2014.
Ashoura: this is the correct name for the DB entry for the Sejjil-2 which is also misspelled. Stats used currently are accurate for this missile but not the Sejjil-2 that it is listed as.

SAMs:
Khorbad-15: revealed June 2019 uses the Sayyad-3 missile which is a derivative of the SM-1. Estimated missile range is 120-150km. Based on their claims of hitting UAVs it is possible this missile is Active homing but not enough info available. The same system uses 2 radars a phased array engagement radar and a phased array search radar that based on imagery appears to be the Ghamar-3D which I will mention more on later. The TELs use quad packs with angled launch elevation much like a patriot.
Raad: short range system with clear similarities to the SA-6 of which it may be a derivative. This is the missile supposedly involved in downing the MQ-4C tuition. Range is estimated to be 50km. Uses the Sayyad-2 and Taer-2 missiles. The former has an estimated range of 75km and the latter 50km. Radar information is limited but the lead vehicle has a phased array radar on its launch platform likely used for target designation. Supposed battery composition is 8 TELs and 4 TELs with radars for a total of 36 ready to fire missiles. There are other TEL versions including an air search and EO targeting systems. IOC was 2015-2016
Talaash: not a ton of information available on this one but it has a similar appearance to the Khorbad-15. Not able changes being a single round tube per TEL and usage of Sayyad-2 missiles. Claims to use the Hafaz 3D radar like for air search.
Bavar-373: Current king of indigenous Iranian Air Defenses this was built after Russia denied S-300 sales in the early 2010s. It uses a vehicle launch system with four tubes per TEL. Missile is the Sayyad-4 which is an improved Sayyad-3 with a range of ~200km. The radar is the Meraj system which is a phased array air search radar with a range estimated at 450km under ideal conditions. It was just revealed in late August so IOC sometime next year likely.

Aircraft:

Ababil series: this is a series of 3 UAVs.
Ababil-I: first flew in 1986 it is a simple short range reconnaissance UAV or floating munition that was air launched. Likely out of service shortly afterwards not a success.
Ababil-II: larger more successful system first flew in 1992 (est) revealed in 1999. Simple recon UAV
Ababil-III: new redesign built for surveillance only. Larger drone with a much longer range of ~100km ~200km total. Airspeed 200kph and exported to many groups.
Mohajer-4: entered mass production in 1999. Larger and longer range than Mohajer-3. Basically a fancier Scaneagle in terms of performance.
Mohajer-6: IOC 2017-2018 much larger system with the ability to carry 2 small weapons. Particularly Qaim missiles.
Sofreh mahi: a small full Delta design UAV used in the recent attack on Saudi oil facilities. Claimed to be stealth but other than shape this claim is hard to validate. It is a suicide drone.
Saegheh-2: RQ-170 derivative design. IOC 2017. Likely recon only
Mobin: ground launched suicide UAV or can be recon configured. Features a 120kg warhead and is designed to be stealthy. 450km range maximum speed 900kph.
F-5 Derivative designs:
Azarakhsh: first derivative likely just rebuilds no performance improvements expected 2001 had 6AC
Saeqeh: first plane likely built in Iran an unknown number are in service with IOC in 2007. Likely only 9-12 were built and no significant differences from the F-5E are expected
Kowsar: 7 known to be in production this may well be a wholly domestic F-5E derivative with upgraded avionics.
Toufan-I: new built AH-1J derivative IOC 2010-2011 65 believed built.
Toufan-II: improved version possibly abandoned 2013 reveal only 1 known to be built
Shahed 285: very odd looking domestic attack helicopter revealed in 2009 in serial production unknown numbers. 2 versions, A is the army variant with a chin mounted PKMT mg and unguided rockets. c version is the naval version and features a surface search radar instead of a chin gun.
Iran also builds domestic Bell 214s

Radars:
Matla-ul-fajr: phased array VHF 3d air search radar on a truck mount. Similar to Chinese JY-11 or JYL-1. May be a AN/TPS-70 derivative and likely has similar capabilities. Does not appear to rotate on mount.
Asr: unveiled 2013 this is an S band PESA naval radar range is estimated at about 200km
Alim: a novel passive radar system designed to observe targets using reflections from standard communications signals. Revealed in 2011 it has a range of around 300km
Arash: a large fixed radar that may be derived from Soviet or Chinese designs. Not much is known but size alone suggests a range of 300-400km
Ghamar: a 3d search radar that is strikingly similar to the AN/TPS-70 just downscaled maybe 20%. Used in conjunction with air defense systems. Suggested range is about 450km.

There are a large number of additional systems I could not find much information on but this covers the major entries.

Hello, I am a newcomer to the forum but I've played CMANO for almost a year and I realized that the database for Thailand is fairly outdated so I'd like to help update the game's database

511 Pattani (Pattani Class OPV)

I would like to provide the pictures and links to information on our equipment but I'm currently limited by the ten posts seven days limit applied to newcomers. After which I'll be sure to provide as much public source to our equipment as possible

Please add FN-16 MANPAD

It upgrade to FN-6 in DB.

quote:

he Chinese-made FN-16 is an upgrade on the FN-6 MANPADS that has been designed mainly for battlefield air defence to intercept low altitude and ultra-low altitude air targets. In particular, the FN-16 missile has an extended range of 6,000 m and the capability to pull an 18 g turn. If required, the FN-16 can also be integrated into an overall air defence system or a local air defence system

Look like China have, Pakistan get

This is my first post, hope it goes well is oke to do.
The Egyptian (Mistral) Gamal Abdel Nasser class has no EW/Search radar. Looking at images and video's it looks it's a MMR-3D NG. A G-band multifunction radar, sam as on the France Mistral class.
Can't post linkes to the radar and images yet.
With regards

I would like to see the Australian Thales Hawkei light mobility vehicle added to the DB, in particular the future version (around 2022/23) with the NASSAM surface to air system onboard. The Hawkei is a series of vehicles design to replace the aging Landrover series.

Okay Atlas, Mygale and Samantha are little more sophisticated than MANPAD. Mostly vehicle mounted multimount configs but radar or command vehicle in some case. If just add radar as separate unit not mount fine too.

Mygale SAM System Chile 1997-1998 So 4 missile launcher, add optical and IR site.
quote:

[Mygale, supplied by Thales, is a short-range modular air defence system comprising an Aspic launcher and a fire control station. The fire control station contains a TRS.2630 Griffon two-dimensional pulse Doppler radar developed by Thales. The Aspic launcher is a four-launch unit on a pedestal mount and fitted with a television sight and tracking system. Aspic can be equipped with a thermal imager, a laser range finder and an IFF transponder. Aspic can fire Mistral or Stinger missiles. Mygale can control up to eight Aspic launch stations, each with four missile launchers.

Samantha System
quote:

The French Army selected Samantha, a variant of the Mygale. Samantha uses a Panhard light armoured vehicle with a telescopic mast, a Griffon radar and a command and control system.
Guardian, developed by Matra and by Boeing Defense Systems, uses the Mistral and is based on the HMMWV M998 high-mobility wheeled launch platform. Some of the subsystems are common with the Boeing Avenger mobile short-range air defence system.

Details here. Note Griffon 2630 already in DB.

Need add TRS 2620/2630 (Gerfaut)as this support Rolands and Mistrals for France. You probably replace Roland radars with this.
