Status: offline 		Is there a problem with the server at the moment?
I have tried a couple of days now.
I get logged in ok but just scrolls through the years
without getting on the server to load the game?

Status: offline 		If you want rename this isle. playerData.dat to playerDataOLD.dat

C:\Users\"your user name"\Documents\My Games\WarPlan\playerData.dat

It will recreate the file when you enter in your login in case it is corrupted.

Status: offline 		Thanks Alvaro but, that didn't work.
My opponent had trouble sending his turn and
thought it was the server being down. After a
day or two, he was able to load it up. Now,
despite changing the file name, it is still
failing to download the game.

Status: offline 		Yes Alvaro, it's a laptop about 7 years old.
I can play Strategic Command and Field of Glory
on this laptop and, had Warplan running ok at first,
until I got into about 3 turns of a multiplayer game.

I logged into multiplayer just fine right now and I see all sorts of games.

Do you have some McAfee or Norton firewall installed? Those things cause more problems than a bull in a China shop. Firewall can block access to the internet from "unknown" applications. Try and ublock it in the software

Status: offline 		I'd turn off all anti-virus and see if you can login.

If you can then the problem is in the anti-virus.

As of Dec 25th 11:27am EST the Matrix servers are up.

Have you logged in before?

Status: offline 		i have disabled kaspersky antivirus and this is not the problem.i had played without problems untill 20/12. since this day i can´t play multiplayer. i can login to multiplayer but cant acces to the menu of multiplayer games

Your output log says nothing. In fact is says less than it should. Try reinstalling.

Status: offline 		i have reinstalled it and updated to the last version and the error persist. i can play solo game but not multiplayer.i can login to multiplayer, but nothing happens when i login succesful to multiplayer. i send you what i can see

Status: offline 		Happened to me too using the Beta, I had to reinstall from scratch.
Apply the patch official, then the patch beta.
Antivirus kicked in and I had to order it to restore the deleted files.

Then it worked.
