Belgium TERR moves out of Cagliari, plus a minor adjustment in the UK.

Gort debarks to Cagliari.

US INF Div invades Saipan from Marianas. It will be automatic.

US rebases Hellcat to Truk. P-35 goes back to Kwajalein. P-40 from Midway to Wake. Dauntless from Tonga to Espirito Santo.

Turn ends on a 3 (less than 9 required).

No partisans.

USSR puts chit to offence and moves chit from defence to offence.

What do the Germans wish to do?

I suspect that 35 turns left is correct because you guys play with the option Extended game length on.

Thanks

AllenK was this intentional? I've just read the blurb - and it says:

This optional rule can extend the game as far as Nov/Dec 1952. Of course the game could always end
sooner by mutual agreement of the players or by one side achieving an automatic victory.

This is the only optional rule that can be modified during the game. That is, once you have selected this
optional rule, you can reset when the end of the game occurs as often as you like.

There is an absolute upper limit on the US production multiple: 2.25.

Any thoughts?

Not particularly. When I do optional rules, I tend to select the lot and then turn off the ones not required. This one I don't bother with as it doesn't affect the game and can be changed at anytime anyway. I'll switch it off so we end at the historical time.

First up, China Sea.

US CA initiates.

Japanese can add a variety of air support. D3A2, Ki-27 and A6M5 can make 1-box. G3M2 and A6M3 can make 3-box. Seiko can make 4-box. Any taking to the skies?

US subs decide to stay out of this for the time being.

Both side quickly locate each other, the Japanese slightly ahead of the Allies, giving a slight advantage (2 points). Searches: Allies 3, Axis 1.
