Seems appropriate at this time. From the greatest war film - and indeed the greatest film - ever made

How soon we forget..... Has there been a cleverer piece of storytelling ever than the fate of this little girl in the red coat?

That is a good scene. My two favorites are when the phat sergeant on the horse sees the invasion fleet, and when the major in the bunker sees the invasion fleet and reports in.

thanks RJ... my other favorite is the scene where Richard Burton is wounded. I think it's one of the last scenes of the movie.

Thanks demyansk! Will check it out. Might have some recording of that Hendrix show in my collection, not sure...

I guess you know Ozzy put an album out recently. I stopped following his solo stuff after Ultimate Sin, don´t like Zak either and don´t bother with any of Ozzys new stuff. Iam a original Sabbath fan and was pissed off when he left the band! Took me years to get into Sabbath with Dio, which then I really enjoyed I must say, but do remember all this as a teen and the disapointment a had when Ozzy left the band

No worries, I have just about all his official albums so yes, I know what you meant. Yeah saw a video titled Ozzy´s health issues, but didn´t watch it.

Might like these guys, old school in today, kind of reminds me of the earlier sabbath stuff (sound/singer). Really like this album...

The Carpenters.

Great to hear again - but boy do I get a really feeling when I listen to many of their songs. This is probably top of the melancholy toons... brilliant but...so damn sad
