Hainan: The Indians come ashore at the smaller AF on Hainan and everything goes well so far. We flew in some AF support and have Chicom fighters on Hainan.

PI: Another bombing raid on Clark. Our AAA usually takes one or two Jap planes out every day.

Annoying, the KB, having been spotted in the Southern Philippine Sea just disappears. This is bad. It means we have to stop all the forward landings in the Solomons and New Britain.

I give up on Tavoy. 70th Div and two other brigades are going to return toward Moulmein and take the road over to Rahaeng. One brigade stays at Tavoy to keep them honest.

Seems as though there are a couple of tasty, tasty IJA targets there in open terrain North of Bangkok. Do you think they'd fancy getting steamrolled by some LB-30/B-17/B-24, etc.? They're probably in range of Rangoon / Moulmein.

Use it for recovering from disruption and fatigue.

For their convenience, M&M Enterprises has just opened a luxury spa there with every amenity for the convalescing soldier...

Yes, I ordered the USAAF and RAF Liberators at Moulmein to attack those LYB's down by Nachon Watchamacallit....but they refused to budge. Probably there are some Tojos fling LRCAP

*********Aboard HMS Shillong, Moulmein Harbour********

Able Seaman Membere: Petty Officer, some of the lads ashore were making fun of the ship. They said it means something funny in Yiddish.

Petty Office Turgidson: I wouldn't worry about it, lad. Do you see anyone speaking Yiddish here?

So Donald Trump, Woody Allen, Roman Polanski and Howard Weinstein were out golfing. Polanski was putting on the second hole when...

What?

Too soon?

And Jeffery Epstein was going to play but he got hung up.

Bill Cosby was going to play too but he mistook a roofie for his Vit E pill and he overslept.

**************February 2, 1943(e)**************

New Britain and New Ireland: We bomb Kavieng so the Japs move their planes back to Rabaul. Moving the transports back in the Solomons in case the KB shows up. They are missing again for a day.

South China Sea: Jap ships 370 S of Kiungshan headed NE. The transports at Kingshan bug out and we move some dive bombers to Vinh.

Siam: The LYB's have cut the supply link from Rahaeng to central Siam, the baahstards.

Tentative plan:

1) Break things with the heavy bombers until they move all their planes out.

2) Build up Buka and Woodlark Is. Start work on Arawe AF and Feni Is

3) When available, draw barges at Salamua to supply Arawe

4) When the KB is located somewhere safely away, land at Kavieng.

Is there a tentative plan if KB strikes? Other than the obvious one.

I think Cap has been quite clear in his tentative planning. He's been tentative much of the game.

So if I mention "Woody Allen" three times, I'll be banned from this forum?
Maybe it is similar to be stoned for saying "Jehowah" (life of Brian)...

All non-essential businesses are closed in San Antonio are closed and I forgot to hoard my liquor so now I am reduced to drinking the beer I can buy at the grocery store. My employer's is considered esential so I still have to go to work.
