Stay away from the girls in Tahiti.

All Pacific Islander girls come with an assortment of robustly-constructed male relatives and they have a strong honor culture with high expectations of proper moral behaviour. Pretty much universal among Polynesians. I work with Maoris, Tongans, Cook Islanders and Fijians. Pretty much straight across the board.

What is your plan for the South Pacific and Central post late 42? Do you take Rabaul or bypass? I never know how to crack that nut, Rabaul seems to be really fortified. Kevieg(sp) I usually take pretty easy which isolates the bases in the area.

I guess my question is do you follow the historical campaign or mix it up? I always seem to not take on the Marshall Islands. Nothing there of much worth. But the jump to Marianas seems a little bit too far. Honestly I love the 1942 era and early 43 but haven't pushed to PI ever.

playing against the AI or pbem?

I play as the Allies against the AI usually, and in late '42 I'm usually working my way up the Gilberts and the PNG coast. I bypass Rabaul as it's best use is as a large Japanese-administered POW camp. Shortlands, Kavieng and Manus Island make the best bases and Kavieng works out well as a logistics hub.
