Fantastic game, i think i have already 100 hours on it!
i share my feedback, maybe due to my playstyle, but anyway here we are :

I find all on map resources overly underestimated, depleting in few years, hence:
1) Is not usual to build improved estractors, as it will make depletion even faster (bad investement)
2) after a while all the natural resources deplete and are obtained by "endless" syntetic building.
3) this remove the reason to fight for a resource rich location (in middle game)... as most of the map is useless only cities matters

Too easy to produce resources by syntetic plants (not only fuel, all of them) as with solar energy you have endless resources... you need only time and few tech

Prospecting is far too easy : no need to use the cards or to set the slider more than 10%, you need it just when expanding very fast... at the end resource prospecting is automatic in short time with tiny effort.

I really miss the OOB some mixed battalion: inf+Anti tank is a must have in the first years (to use anti tank gun concentrated is very underperforming), also mixed tank + recon, mobile inf + recon or units like mobile milita battalion etc. It will give far more strategic choice

Mobile regiments use twice manpower than leg inf.. too much to be useful, you can use only if you are manpower high.. also not "historical".. never built a truck infantry unit for APC is different as they fight!

Too high fuel consumption by tanks, especially compared to fuel natural reserve. In real world we would have run out of natural petroleum in the 1942 ..

It is messy to move a general to another HQ, or to any other position : first you need to remove than replace with a lot of leader reactions: it should be a "swap" position command.

Far too many strategic cards even juggling with the sliders: after i while i am submerged (and the target for strategic card was to decrease micro management!)

The slider inside a cabinet dont remember the previous allocation, every time you are asked for reallocation you get value closer to 50% than last setting. (just boring)

the priest are too micro requiring .. but are a very good addition..

Far too easy to ignore radiation.. evirosuit is generally enough.. just in a eartlike planet for 20/30 turns it matter .. and not so much too

Anyway just personal feeling, the game is very good, keep up the good work!

I generally agree on the resource deposit stuff. I also got the feeling of not seeing why I should upgrade a mine.
But I think this does depend on the planet you're playing. There could be planets with huge deposits, as far as I can tell.

I think this might be intentional. If you really want to micromanage which leader is in which position, you're gonna have to piss a bunch of leaders off.
Even when you have an open position and you want to assign a specific leader, the leaders that are suggested for the position are often members of factions, so if you want to dismiss them to get to the person that you actually want yourself, it will also annoy that faction. Swapping would let you bypass a lot of that.

Pretty sure this got fixed in the current beta patches.

Regarding the resources, this sugestion:
https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4829352

Is about having multiple "layers" of resources, and higher mining tech being about accessing those deeper reserves.

"Prospecting is far too easy : no need to use the cards or to set the slider more than 10%, you need it just when expanding very fast... at the end resource prospecting is automatic in short time with tiny effort. " Or you do not waste (relevant) BP on Prospecting and use the cards to actually find stuff.

"Mobile regiments use twice manpower than leg inf.. too much to be useful, you can use only if you are manpower high.. also not "historical".. never built a truck infantry unit for APC is different as they fight!"
Mechanized and Motorized is a common mistake, but not in that case.
APC is mechanized.
Truck is Motorized.
I agree on it needing way to much personel, like there is nobody among those 5.5k Soldiers that can drive? Or do maintenance?

Good, I'll add mine here as I found them a bit light to add as separate topics.

* Regime Reports: Please autosort these alphabetically. Currently you have all reports of all domains haphazardly through each other. Alphabetical order would ensure the 3 regime reports are always next to each other.

* Tech Tree: Please highlight the current techs being researched by the MC, EC and ASC.

I did not purchase the game based on feedback about turn times, I simply can't personally get in to games where I have to wait 30 seconds or more to make another move, unfortunately this rules out many of the matrix titles for me including the strategic command series. While I understand the need to process many calculations per turn I'm not retired yet and simply don't have the willingness to wait. One day I hope you can improve the turn times in you games so that I feel comfortable buying more of them. You asked for feedback and that's all I got at this time.

At first I was really put off by the idea of long turn times, but the game is so complex that I often find myself looking around my empire and thinking about my next moves while the turn is processed. I think that the ability to pan around and see things happen makes a big difference; if you only got a black screen with a loading bar, it would be completely unbearable. I also play on smaller planets to mitigate things further. I do wish turns could be processed much faster; ideally we could get some optimization updates someday.

Ok, that's fine. Do realize though that turns aren't fast in this game. Sure, you might have to wait 30 seconds. But you probably took about 20 minutes on your turn.

So take that into the equation. 30 secs wait per 2 minutes is not fun. 30 secs wait per 20 minutes is honestly not bad at all. Imho.

Actually, one of the current betas did some optimisations. Something regarding having a lot of stratagems. Unfortunately, it broke a bunch of things. But we are pretty certain we are on the way back to it being stable.
