OK, please bear with me, but it's been many years since I've played WitP-AE. I'm craving a game like this for it's complexity (good choice then right?) and depth, I'm bored. I'm trying to get WiF to satisfy this craving but that's a long and windy road. Sounds like a song I knew...

I remember a line of text I would type into the properties icon command line that would make my widescreens usable. I think it was Erik that posted this gem, I can't find it. Help?

There is a Readme Document in your installation Folder, in there stands all that you need to know.

Ahhhh, I see in the update install text it says Widescreen support in the readme file. Duhhhh... Thanks for the fast reply. Feeling stupid again.

Yeah, I had been contemplating the SeaBee program in there. Lots of good information!

I'm running the game in 1920 x 1080, no problems. I let Seabee do all the configuring. The game runs fine. I definitely recommend using Seabee.

Now the text is too small. Figures. One thing always leads to another.

Does it help with the small text?

EDIT: Nope. SeaBee did nothing more than I do with the readme file. Text is too small. Back to WiF...

The text scales with the resolution you set. You cannot make a high resolution for the greater map area covered and not have the text shrink. Get a magnifying glass or use the magnify feature in Windows.

I know all about resolution vs text size. I have lots of programs and games that scale UI independent of resolution size. I was hoping that there is a function like that hiding in WitP-AE.

Just memorize which button is where and what it does.
