Hi all,

Hello,

Need coffee...

How was the interview accepted (now with 2-week time gap)?

Leo "Apollo11"

Very well, thank you. It was published on a double page, and my article was the most-read one for three days straight (above all others, including sports, politics and Covid articles). Lots of good comments.

Congratulations!

Is there a link?

Do you read French ?

I can read more French than I can speak or understand verbally. But, Google also translates for me.

Not unless it is the same word as in English, otherwise very little.

So no, but there are translation programs.

But I did see some articles, including one with a picture . . .

Good day all. Been biding my time resurrecting some of my old SPI: game of over forty years ago. Lately Destruction of Army Group Center which I just acquired last month. Then it was Kursk now Turning Point: The battle of Stalingrad. Nest Moscow Campaign. Hadn't played any one of those since 1998. Simple and still enjoyable. DAGC with a little research from my library I came up with a historical setup. Same with Moscow Campaign I did 30 years ago. Panzer and panzer grenadier divisions mostly for Moscow Campaign.

Didn’t do it for fun, but it was satisfactory.

Yeah, I really didn't mean fun, but way back I knew a judge up in the Boston area and he had no problem humiliating a lawyer if they were screwing up....GP

I give them several chances to abort the mission, if they don’t get the signal, well, too bad, they get some flak. Like the bâtonnier (head of the local bar association) said a couple years ago, the time of the tourist lawyers is over. Some haven’t had the memo.

The problem is really a problem of general quality of the lawyers. If they screw it before me, as long as it’s only for a misdemeanor and not one of the more important cases, their client doesn’t suffer so much bad consequences. If they screw up in some other courts, like criminal courts, consequences may be way more serious. If they can’t bother to properly prepare a small case, they get a verbal spanking.

If they still don’t get it, usually their boss hears about it, and they’re out of the bar.

Maybe some law professors should send students to your courtroom to observe - unless there are videos that they can watch!

That shouldn't be happening. In my humble opinion, that is. Are the layers not prepared for some resistance to what they say?

Maybe we, the older generations, should prepare them better for life?

Or maybe I just got it wrong.

I think that you got it wrong.

I think that the incompetent lawyers should be put out of our misery.
