within a space of just a few days, my windows 11 test pc and another of the same 8 years old vintage with windows 10 on it have died a death, ah well can't say i've not had my moneys worth. Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.5GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 and one with a AMD card Dedicated Memory: 4053 MB both overclocked at 4.2 and no issues for years, changed a few HDD in them, changed the VGA cards, added some SSD so only left with my net pc, one laptop and a old pc connected to a printer in the summer house and my gaming rig, seems i'm going again into the loft and into my bin of spare parts and will again build me something to test with, have more than a few I7 and M/B's left, so a week or 2 i'll be back up and running some more test pc's. but overall, that's not the point of the post, it's windows 11, can't say i'm impressed, just not worth it for me, there's nothing in the new version that would make me want it atm, as don't use android apps, not interested in locking down the pc more than i already do and not bothered about the new desktop, so in my tests, there's no real speed difference, as windows 10 already uses the same faster versions and the newest memory management tools anyway. so can't say i'll be installing again any time soon, unless something changes in the beta branch and i think it's worth it....
