Does shock have to be reset in the editor?

Which one is correct?

A. Shock automatically resets to 100 once the event concludes its turn range?
B. Another event is required to reset shock to 100?

Thanks all in advance

Where did you see A? I'd like to investigate the context, because I don't believe it is correct.

Shock is only set by event. If you set shock, it will stay at the set level until a new event occurs to change it.

The field you're referring to "turn range" is the variability in when the event will occur, e.g.
Turn 1, Range = 4, Shock 1 = 80

This means that Force 1's shock level will be set to 80 on a random turn between 1 and 4. It will then stay at 80 until another event occurs with an effect of Shock 1.

Events do not otherwise have a duration. This applies to all events which change force or other variables: once set, the event is done with and does not stay in memory to restore a previous value on a later turn. Only a new event can do that.

Thanks guys, thats what I thought.

I noticed something a bit strange during a test run; it only happened once.

I don't believe its correct either.
