As Japanese Inf squad do not generally have a production value like allied ones how does the game know how many squads it's making...will it just make as many as it can?

i'm sorry if it is in the manual somewhere but i cannot find it.

As many as the game pulls in replacements into LCUs at a given turn. Given non-zero manpower and armamments in the pool (but those usually are)

OK tks - So allies are limted to a pool and Japan is only limited by access to the MP and Arms. Unless they are from the starting pool which I assume uses none.

Almost all japanese equipment works that way, if set to build allowed in the editor.
For example radar sets with a build rate still build based on requirement if there is manpower and arms available.

And that for Japan is very limited, well compared to the Allies.
