<summary>Add Switchblade 300 and Switchblade 600</summary>
<detail>The US has purchased the Switchblade 300 and 600. Please also add the Multipack launcher; see evidence MPL_Datasheet_07122021.pdf

“The Switchblade 300 is a lightweight, organic, beyond line-of-sight precision guided weapon,” Brett Hush, Senior General Manager, Product Line Management of AeroVironment Tactical Missile Systems business adds. Its military avionics, GPS/INS and E/O – IR sensor suite are the same fitted to the Blackwing ISR submarine launched system, allowing economy of scale. Targeting optics include dual front and side looking E/O cameras and one IR nose camera with stabilized electronic pan-tilt-zoom. A secure digital data link ensures two-way communications between the air vehicle and the operator, the Switchblade 300 being fitted with a precision effects munition payload, with directional precision engagement, ensuring low collateral damages. This is provided by Northrop Grumman (formerly Orbital ATK), and has the size of a 40 mm grenade warhead, mostly aimed at antipersonnel engagements and also effective against soft-skinned vehicles.

A soldier oriented system, fully manportable, the overall weight of the munition including the launch tube is 2.5 kg, and three such munitions can be hosted in a rucksack. From the stored position, it takes less than two minutes to deploy and launch the Switchblade 300; this, together with the over 100 km/h cruise speed and the 160 km/h dash speed allow it to reach the maximum range, 10 km, in less than 6 minutes, to acquire, identify and engage high volatility targets. Considering the 15 minutes endurance, this gives time to loiter over the target, and eventually acquire a different one should the first attack be waved off, something that can be done until few seconds before detonation, according to AeroVironment officials.

The Switchblade 300 can receive target data from other systems, i.e. AeroVironment Wasp, Raven or Puma UAS; once the UAS operator has positively identified the target, its grids are automatically transferred to the loitering munition via machine-to-machine interface, reducing transfer time and with no chance of error. Once the engagement completed, the UAS can provide battle damage assessment

I am not sure, but I think this is a minor database issue and not for the technical forum part:

The #3490 Blackwing UAS launched from submarines has a speed of 400-600 kts but is propellor driven and weighs four pounds.. You catch my drift..?

Another thing is that it can only fly pre-programmed waypoints, but then it starts loitering and can't be given any waypoint commands.

In the database, it has a Link-16 datalink a UHF secure datalink and the UAV datalink.
If there is Submarine-to-UAV comms, I think it should be possible to adjust the waypoints inflight.

Quote:
“Threshold performance of the air vehicle should include electro-optic capability with reliable target solution analysis,” it continued. “The vehicle should remain airborne for at least one hour, operate at ranges out to the line-of-sight radio horizon, and use a variable bandwidth encrypted datalink with at least 256-bit encryption strength.”

And this one is a challenge I think for you programmers:
The drone “doesn’t have to launch right away. It could be sent to the surface and set to launch at some later time when no submarine’s in the area.”
Is this staying, and take-off later capacity programmable?

The following equipment was purchased: four sector radars, four combat control stations, 16 M-903 launchers, six command and control stations,
12 radio lines and 208 Lockheed Martin PAC-3 MSE missiles.
The first battery is expected to be deilvered in the be in early 2022.
The Polish batteries are slightly different than the batteries currently included in the DB, because Poland has only bought PAC-3 MSE missiles and all the ones currently included are ussualy loaded with a mix of missiles.

"• At 99kg each, the Common Anti-Air Modular Missiles (CAMM) are double the weight of Rapier and have three times the range. They can reach speeds of 2,300mph eliminating fighter aircraft, drones and even laser-guided smart bombs. Eight missiles are mounted on the launcher, which fire in a unique multi-directional manner that significantly reduces its signature making it less of a target for adversaries. The launcher also re-arms in less than half the time of Rapier."

SEA CEPTOR #2783 Sea Ceptor CAMM(M)

https://www.savetheroyalnavy.org/from-sea-wolf-to-sea-ceptor-the-royal-navys-defensive-shield/

As a significant weapon system on new Type 26/31 and retrofitted Type 23 UK RN vessels plus Brazilian and RNZN exports:Please consider

1. Making #2783 Sea Ceptor CAMM(M) faster circa 2000kts. Majority of sources are crediting it with circa Mach 3 performance.
Currently it is incapable of engaging P-800 class supersonic missiles due to a max engagement speed of 1350kts versus the Strobile's 1600kts.
This is unlikely given the time frame, generation of missile and design criteria.
It was designed when the Strobile and similar types were a known quantity and a principle threat, so it should be capable of defending against it.

2. Capable of hitting surface targets. There are numerous and credible reports from several sources including the manufacturer of it being capable of attacking surface targets including small swarming attacks from Jet Ski style threats.

3. As a lesser issue in Royal Navy parlance it is GWS.35 so could you also consider a name change to #2783 CAMM(M)[Sea Ceptor GWS.35]

Thanks for consideration as ever.

Finland has today selected F-35A Block 4 as replacement for F-18C/D in Finnish Air Force. The first Finnish F-35 fighters will begin service with the Finnish Air Force in 2025 as part of the training of Finnish personnel in the United States. The first F-35s will be delivered to Finland in 2026.

Some important details for loadouts:

quote:

The first Finnish fighters – coming out of Lot 17 in 2025 – will have the TR3 hardware upgrades that are associated with the Block 4 (including the sidekick upgrade that allow for six AMRAAMs in internal carriage)

The weapons package is at the same time comprehensive and straightforward. The first package which will be signed off at the same time as the fighter contract is for AIM-120C-8 AMRAAMs and AIM-9X Sidewinders. Further down the road the package will most likely include JSM in the joint air-to-ground and anti-ship roles, as well as the AGM-158 JASSM-ER heavy cruise missile, GBU-54 and GBU-56 LJDAM laser-/GPS-guided bombs in the 250 and 1,000 kg class, as well as the GBU-39 SDB and GBU-53/B StormBreaker SDB II small-diameter bombs. Notable is that this will bring serious new capabilities to the Finnish Air Force, such as the ability to hit moving and mobile targets, on land and at sea.

https://corporalfrisk.com/2021/12/11/f-35a-is-hx-the-winner-takes-it-all/

It should also be able to carry other weapons in service in Finland such as GBU-31 (MK-84 and BLU-109) and possibly JSOW.

Cheers ;)

This should be an easy fix. Taiwan's SkyBow III (SAM) #888. Its minimal target altitude is 100000ft-80000ft. That is way too high. Attached is the screenshot of the DB entry. DB version is DB3000 v491
