I don't have anyone to play against via PBEM, but I find that scenario rather interesting.

I'm curious though, if you are familiar with the editor, because I'm having trouble understanding how to implement movement costs for terrain and I cannot find any reference anywhere in the manual. If I could understand the editor better, I would love to make a Chinese civil war scenario using your unit images. Thanks

Thanks, Alvaro.

EDIT: Lion, disregard former link; I just saw that Alvaro posted the proper one.

Checked them and they seem ok. Are you sure you're using the Pacific counters and not those made for Europe? If the latter is the case, there will be problems with some naval units, since Pacific has more counters than Europe.

Please Uxbridge, have a look at the links in the post at the beginning.
It does not work for me! Terrain, industry has changed, but not the icons for units.
???????

I checked. It seems ok. The major power's air and naval counters should look like this. The ship silhuettes are part of the same image, so they can't really come off. Sure you're not confusing my version with someone else's; I know some modders have ships laid above a half-counter?

Are you a graphic artist?

My fault.
I had not changed the counter set in options ...
The counter set has no influence on terrain and industry icons, but obviously on units.
I was not aware of that.

But thanks for your time to respond and the fine art.

Ah, good we had that settled. And for once the problem wasn't caused by my usual computer clumsiness.

Alvaro: No, I'm not a graphic artist. I work in a photo shop and am a part-time writer. I learned some basic Adobe Illustrator skills while doing maps for my WWII and Napoleonic books. But since early, I'm very graphic sensitive. As a teenager, I never bought LP-records if the cover wasn't to my liking. It's almost like some kind of mild madness, and that's why I'm always onto you about graphics.

Uxbridge, my friends and I installed your mod. Nice looking units. I see that the map has changed as well. There are a number of hexes where there is SR X2 and what looks like tools crossed. For example, if you look at your 10th post on this thread dated 7/7/2021 there is a screenshot of a hex by Balavia. What does the X2 an indication of? Thanks.

That's a Strategic Resource hex. It multiplies the sum of all your normal (green) Resources by x2/100.

If you have a combined amount of 40 green Resource hexes and two red SR hexes, the calculation would be: 40 x 1.04, giving you 41,6 PP this turn. That's, at least, is how I think it works.

Thanks, I had figured out that the SR was strategic resources but I was wondering about the X2 because in the manual it states that every strategic resource held increases production by 1%.

Remmes: You're welcome.

canuckgamer: You're right. I'm having 2x in my scenarios and didn't realize that went with the official tile. I will make an update of the Pacific graphics soon, and will correct this.

I'm not seeing any "scenario folders" to put the mod into?
I replaced all the .png files with your 5 files and am still seeing no changes.

Thznk you for all the hard work Uxbridge, this is my favourite Counter MOD - really creates more immersion into the game with these detailed counters graphics - look forward to your planned updates!

Ditt arbete uppskattas, och du jobbar på det du måste veta är riktigt guld för ett Pacific-krigsspel.

I do hope your work is somehow brought into the design team for future releases. Thanks again.

Hi guys.

I have been so preoccupied with WarPlan Europe and the scenario I'm constantly updating there, that I haven't found the spirit to fix the long overdue changes to the Pacific graphics. They are now in place, just download from the original link in the first post of this thread. Tonight, finding some time for it, I will also post the enhanced Pacific scenario, where I don't only have the updated graphics, but a vastly updated map with lots of new terrain and place names.

Thank you.

The coastal, fort units still use the NATO infantry symbol. WAD?

Updated map?! Do you mean that you have changed the scale?

Regarding the names, did you change Henderson Field for Guadalcanal and fixed Yakohama?

Oh, a new unit?? I wasn't even aware of that. And I see it uses one of the hitherto vacant counter images. I'll fix that. Must only consider what to have there.

I was tempted to do the same as Alvaro did, but it doesn't really comply with the look of the other counters. And I have to beware of illustrations that comes out too blurry. Think I go for a good, old fashion artillery dot.

Regarding your other questions, the map scale of the scenario is the same and I will have a look at the names.

OK, but it WitP they use the same symbol

Regarding the names, I think Guadalcanal is better than HF, because is the name of the island and gave name to the campaign, besides, it was named after an aviator fallen at Midway, so it is wrong to see it when you start the scenarios both 1941 or 1942, before the battle.

I don't think we have enough pixels for it. If I draw it like that, it will come out as a white smudge.

Hi UX, glad to see you updating your mod. Is it working in the new WPP v1.00.06 patch? It does not seem to be with mine for some reason.

Edit, it is working with a previous scenario I had set up but not with the 1941 (small fleet) for some reason.

Hi Staufenberg. In what way does it not work? Can't you see them at all, or are some graphics wrong within them? Do notice that there was some problem with the scenarios in 1.06. You may have put the files in the incorrect campaign map.
