All, I am just beginning to look at scenario and am wondering if anyone has the address of any websites with historical maps or information. I am wanting to look at the invasion of Britain (obviously this makes it hypothetical) so the South East coast of England would be a starting point (and unlike Robin Hood -Prince of Thieves, I wont put Hadrians Wall 1 days ride on horseback from Dover) RobW

What's wrong with the ordnance survey maps? They should at least give you the lie of the land, locations of towns, etc

Then a visit here

may give you some idea of the locations of defensive lines, forts, etc.
