In a campaign game during the initial deployment I tried to attach I3 (an FO bren carrier) to A0. It exploded. I then tried to attach B0(a Matilda) and it exploded as well. What is going on?

SInce all the units are in the A0's formation by default there is nothing to be gained by attaching a unit to the A0. This bug was left in becasue scenario designers liked the ability to have some carcasess littering the battlefield at start and to start the game with a "penalty" of sorts for the player (making a decisive victory more difficult). What we need to do is squaash teh bug and find an alternative for scenario designers :-) [This message has been edited by Paul Vebber (edited 05-21-2000).]

nah, it's not a bug, just realism thrown in for extra flavor. The unit, when attached to the commmander, gets so nervous, is under such stress, that it causes them to literally explode! :-)

And in SP: The Nam - it will be the other way round and the commander gets fragged by the attached unit :-0

I wanted an FO unit with my AO. As a work around I went into the editor and hacked the SPWAW 1.0 unit to add what I wanted. ------------------ An old soldier but not yet a faded one.
