ORIGINAL: GoofTrooper Here is a list of bugs I've noticed. Sorry if there are already post about any of these. 1) I Received spotting reports from enemy Coast watchers and aircraft spotting my TF's. This is with the FOW on. Coast watchers are rather strange but you may detect planes approaching your TF. By the way all TF sightings are not shown by messages. quote:
ORIGINAL: GoofTrooper 2) During aircombat anim, groups that are already wiped out will continue to be engaged and receive casualties. Two reasons: 1) more victories are claimed than real enemy losses. When you see planes destroyed in a row (without messages like X fire at Y, but 3 time Y destroyed), only one plane is destroyed but the number of planes on the screen is reduced by 3 2) CAP scramble. The number shown are the number on CAP at the start of the attack but more planes may join the fight if it is over their base and the number will not rise quote:
ORIGINAL: GoofTrooper 3) During air combat anim, air groups seem to loop without engaging (esp against bombers). Example: 43fs climbs to intercept (next) 43 dives on bombers (next) 43fs climbs to intercept (next) 43 dives on bombers. This will happen with all the CAP's in the battle. They will do this almost till the end of battle (even if they have already engaged the same group they are trying to intercept. You got one message per fighter unit per bomber units at least, so if you have a four unit CAP and a five unit bomber raid arrives, you will got 20 messages as each of your fighter unit will try to engage each of the bomber unit. When nothing appears after a message, that means that none of your fighter manages to fire at the planes. Either they lost them in clouds, were busy with the escorts or too slow or at the wrong alt. quote:

I could be looking during the wrong time frame though (don't remember dates). In Dec 1941, Boyington should be with the AVG in Burma but I have not checked it. If the Morton is the legendary SS Wahoo commander he should be on the replacement list as he took over the Wahoo during the war after his former master was replaced for lack of results. quote:
ORIGINAL: GoofTrooper 5) Dec 7. I have Historic 1st turn and Dec 7 suprise (no variance) playing as Japs. In the first turn turn allied sub attacked AK TF of Philippines before My forces had engaged any allied base/ship etc. Pearl has more Cap then when playing as allies 1st turn (roughly 30%) Also the brits lauch many LB sorties against TF conducting initial anphib ops. Seems the restrictions for the Dec 7 suprise only apply when the player is allied. If I can think of more I will post them. Never seen this with difficulty set as historical but won't surpirse me if you play with a higher difficulty setting. This is not a bug, rather an AI aid. Hey, you have a brain and it has none. By the way, in all my games with historical turns on British bombers attack invasion TF off Malaya. WITP has bugs but most of your list do not enter in this category (at least MOO)
