Well despite the Allies lies, the IJN Command does admit that a TF of Allied warships ran into Amboina harbor last night and attacked nearly defenseless ships delivering medical and humanitarian supplies to the once oppressed people on Amboina. The ruthless allies attacked defenseless ships and then proceeded to shell the port and surrounding area as well. As dawn came the wreckage was surveyed.. Very little damage was done to the port and airfield itself, and only a single ship has sunk so far, but several are critically damaged and may sink at any time. The USN lost the DD Maury which had a problem with water leaking into the ship after running into a couple of IJN torpedoes yesterday... The USN also lost another DD today (DD Flusser) with the same problem - but this time it was reportedly 3 IJN torps causing the problem.. It seems Rob's ASW was very powerful at the beginning of the war around PH but is fairly weak right now as my subs play havoc on his TFs in that area. Wallis Island was captured by troops landing via submarine transport. While this island (along with Christmas Island) are not strategically important, they are still part of a larger plan... The last Allied troops on Mindanao are under heavy attack and are expected to die or surrender in the next day or two. Not much more to say here so I'll post the AAR and let you guys enjoy... BTW, Luskan, if you want to post what you think Operation Go For Broke is go ahead.. I will neither comfirm nor deny it of course, but am interested in what you think it is...
