Well I found 2 Carriers with 6 heavy cruisers as escorts south of Port Moresby, I sunk all except of Lexington.
She was badly damaged but sailed away.

But yeasterday when a friend used the alliad it was sunk.

The problem is that on the Japanese sunk list it is not on it, but on the allied list it is sunk

Sunk ships take anywhere up to 30 days to appear on the sunk list, even if you're guys saw it go down. It's called "Fog of War".

It can take up to 60 days before a sunk ship will show up in your list if it is not immediately known. Just to keep you sweating

Only such ships that get reported sunk outside the combat results in the main window show immediatly in sunk list. Those reported sunk in the combat report but not outside are still affected by FoW, it seemed to me.
