Their is no air recon becouse the matrix team belives it give to much info on the battle field and takes away from the fog of war. I agree totally with this by the way.

Yes, I sometimes included airstrikes just so I could get a peek at the enemy's rear area - not very realistic.

I agree that air recon was "super-recon" . . . but that's not why I ask. I agree that air recon should NOT be super recon. However, I do not think the wording the designers used indicated that there would be -no- recon, just that they thought it was too powerful and would be toned down. There are air recon slots in some countries purchase screens -- and air recon -was- an important aspect of several campaigns . . . the Pacific being a very good example. In any case, I am making a scenario . . . and need air recon. I'm not asking if air recon is too powerful or not, just if there are any units under those slots.
