I have ordered BiN boxed version on September 24th and just checked the status on my order which is listed as "pending shipment".When could I expect to receive the game?next week?
I have also checked my bank account which has not been charged for this purchase yet, so I suppose that the shipment has not even been sent...
Is there any chance for me to start playing this game by the end of the next week?I hope so...

Pumba,
I do not know why you wanted BIN shipped to you but I assume you wanted the CD as back up? You can always burn one after you download it from Digital River :) Do you have a high speed connection? I think paying the extra money for a CD is a waste if you have a fast connection but I don't know your situation :) Don't get me wrong I am not talking trash about paying the money out just pointing out that you can save some money here if you just burn a back up after you download it<g> I paid to have a CD sent to me and all it was was a blank CD from Staples with my name on it and the BIN exe files to load the game. I could have done that without paying the extra money. I guess I thought it would be a pretty CD with the KP logo on it. Oh well. Enjoy the game when you get it. It's a blast! Email me if you want a PBEM :)

Christian,

I get a DSL connection which allows me to download everything I want without any problem and a DVD writer is also installed on my PC for burning a possibly back up CD but my weakness is that I am a collector and need a nice box with a labelled CD and have so to pay for that;it is the only explanation for my boxed version choice and nothing else.
I have already purchased WitP and AtD through DD and would have probably picked up the boxed versions if they were available at that time.I would be a little bit disappointed if the CD is a blank one as you said since I was expecting a nice labelled but unfortunately it is too late now...I will reconsider my position for future purchase so I could enjoy it since the first day of its release.
Now I am hoping to get the game by the end of the next week otherwise I will make myself hara-kiri...or at least I will completly loose my sense of humor...It would be a great pity...
Thanks for your offer,I will let you know when I want a PBEM.

"Panzer Vorwäerts!"Hehe...

Tim

cesteman, Pumba1968,

The original "CD on Demand" was indeed a fairly plain backup CD. The new "Game on Demand" now has a printed DVD Box and a printed CD. It looks just like the copies we sell at the conventions or in stores.

Regards,

- Erik

So I go for another round.
When will I get my purchase?
Things are really turning ridiculous...
I have bought a game and have even been charged for the shipment so I could at least expect that the box would have been sent on time.Is the "official" delay of 7-14 business days respected sometimes???
This situation is really pissed me off and I am still polite.
"P....n j'en ai marre..."
Sorry but I am not going to translate that I have written above;just make me feel better to say that! (those who are fluent in french will perfectly understand what I mean).
I would really appreciate a goob explanation on this issue if there is one...which is a legitimate request.
I don't mind whether this is due to DR or MG but the result is that I have paid for a service which has not been correctly fulfilled.Could I get this game one day?
Hope I will get a reply...

an unsatisfied customer who will become really furious soon...

ridicule,vraiment ridicule...

I have not received the box yet but I got finally an explanation from DR on yesterday about this issue;they will even inform me when the box will be shipped. So I will wait patiently for its shipment and recover my calmness that I have a little bit lost...
BTW I am going to pick up Tin Soldiers:Alexander the Great (Box+ DD).I am not vindictive...
I should not say that otherwise MG will in the future hold my box much more longer just to enforce me to make another purchase...

Ich möchte Marc für seine Unterstützung danken.
Danke sehr Marc.

2 gaulle,

The Never Ending Story...

I just would like to know if any European customer who ordered the BiN boxed version through the Europe store has already received their shipment?
Thanks.

Txema,

Thanks for your reply but unfortunately considering the answer I got from DR you are not likely to get the game soon.
It is really a kind of amateur...

We´re working on this guys, unfortunatly that´s out of our direct controll. But be assured this is a thing that is handled by the top brass of DR personally now.

Danke Marc,

I hope this issue will be sorted out soon!

I get another question:
As the price is the same for the physical shipment and the DD+physical shipment could I possibly get a DD while waiting for this damned box???Is this possible???
I would really appreciate an answer on this point.
Thanks in advance.

I bought BiN DD + Box a week ago, and the order status has been 'Backordered' and 'Pending Shipment' since then. It seems I won't be getting the box anytime soon, as some of you have been waiting for a month already.

I got HTTR in less than a week when I ordered it last May, so something seems to be very wrong with this present system. Have you run out of BiN boxes or what?

I'm sure you understand that this is not the correct way to get new & happy customers...right?

My advice: Get rid of DR ASAP. There MUST be better partners in the world for Matrix, 'cause DR's blundering is legendary.

It took two months for me to get my Witp disk, and that was after Erik and company got involved and sent it themselves. I decided to pass on the BiN cd until things finish reorganizing.

I too got e-mail, and the order status seems to be "fulfilled" or something.

Now we just have to wait and see if we really get our boxes soon.
Maybe DR has learned from their mistakes and everything will go smoothly after this. Yeah.

The Never Ending Story...(following episode)

After 20 business days I finally received the game today...
Nevertheless another problem appears as I can not install the game...The serial number is missing...
Where is my serial number?please help!
The situation is desperately ridiculous...
A precision is that I have not received any serial number in my order confirmation email from DR.

To be continued....

Pumba,

Hope you find the game to be enjoyable!

Perhaps a year from now when you're still playing BIN, this awful episode will become a mere speedbump in the way of your tank divisions

This episode is concerning the past now!!!But I think that DR should better or simply communicate...I can understand that they could get some kind problem. Why didn't they keep their customers update on the situation???I would have probaly picked up another option if I knew boxes were out of stock when I have placed my order and purchased the box later.
