I appreciate your thinking on this, fdlu.
Now here is a case where if we please one group, we displease another
Some like 'em long, some like 'em short. We've had complaints that they were too brief.
Personally, before I take the time to download, I want to be sure that this scenario is one I want to play. Downloading a scenario that is a disappointment is a bigger disappointment
One alternative is simply to read the basics in the description, nationalities, date, type of battle, etc. and skip the big text. All of that can be seen at a glance.
Here is where I felt that too much was better than too little.
Other designers opt for the shorties.
What do the rest of you think about this?
Your suggestions for hypos is good. We'll do some of those. And maybe some more WW2 movie themes too.
