Allied aircraft no flights Allied aircraft losses F4F-4 Wildcat: 4 destroyed - a bonus Japanese ground losses: 237 casualties reported Guns lost 3 Allied ground losses: 1000 casualties reported - a nice number!-) Guns lost 15 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Situation Report India It's rather messy in India - troops are marching all over the place. Some are in need of supplies, some are worn out while others are stuck in the wilderness. I'm holding a fair reserve back around Dacca though. More than 2 divisions can be used to reinforce a threatened area or move to reinforce a faltering assault. I'm now moving more troops from Jamshedpur towards Lucknow while a battlegroup is heading into Diamond Harbour. I'm afraid the forts here will make even 10k troops a hard nut to crack. The 20k Allied troops and 235 vehicles that moved out of Jamshedpur will be shadowed by a bde. It will take a long time for them to get anywere without supplies. There are a lot of enemy aircraft at Lucknow - I moved 120 bombers and 75 fighters into Dacca, but I'm not going to order them to strike at long range. Casualties have been very high. Base forces are currently waiting in transports at Chandpur, they will move into Diamond Harbour as soon as it falls. The battleships at Trimcomalee are sailing towards Panaji - they will hit Bombay when my army arrives in a week or so. All of the carriers in the Indian Ocean are preparing to disengage with the exception of the light carrier Ryujo. They will sail to Singapore since there is no more fuel at Trimcomalee. I found a bug I got a base force at Panaji, but the unit is gone even though the base report says there are ca 1500 troops and 18 aviation support available. My search and recon squadrons are going into reserve, and I had to move the single operational Emily and recon ac out today. (See picture below) Has this type of bug been reported before, or should I post it? Central/South Pacific I've decided not to turn back to face the US tf that moved into Tarawa today. There might be enemy cv's on the way...and I don't want to fight that far away from my home bases. I've achieved more than I hoped for, so I'm heading home. Recon shows few enemy troops at Lunga - but there are plenty of ac - so I'm considering a bombardment run supported by carriers in a week or so! Bug shot
