ORIGINAL: michaelm 1. If you load an air group onto a transport, you will need to look at the "All naval based groups" listing. [It is not on land any more] Well I know that, but they don't appear in that list at all, only in the land based list. That's why I posted that one. quote:
2. If you call up the "All land based groups" listing. Find the 12th group. Click on the group. Click on "Set group location". You may now be where the group thinks it is, which if I am guessing correctly is the TF you loaded the group onto. Well that centres the map on Vancouver, the current location of the single ship TF, with the other buttons of the other TFs and LCUs at Vancouver displaying at the bottom, but neither the text info on Vancouver (name, port/airfield sizes, supplies/fuel etc.) nor the other Vancouver airgroup buttons! quote:
The "Transfer.." button should be active, so I suggest you try transferring them back to a land base. For some reason, the group appears to have been assigned to the TF rather than a ship. Yes, it does seem possible to transfer them to another base, including Vancouver. I also forgot to mention that in the details for the AK in question, the air group is not listed as being on board. quote:
Was the ship sunk/damaged/transferred to another TF/etc??? No/No/No. Even though I'll probably be able to recover the group, the fact that it disappeared in the first place, and the AK decided to stop at Vancouver and load supplies, really do make me wonder at the robustness of the WitP code.
