I might have missed something, but details on Zeke problem seem to be a bit scarce

Are they just missing?, or organising?
With a very late seizure of the DEI, and a very early rampant Allied fleet cutting them of from Japan, is there any actual oil and Heavy industry to produce them?

Way I read it way back when the Horatio way was floated a lot of people warned that this would happen and we would see a mid 43 finish

Seems to me just the chickens coming home to roost
Of course more info on problem might prove me wrong?

Anyone else up to mid 43 and not recieving Zekes.?(or up to 43 and getting them!)

No, read the threads. It states what the problem is with disappearing Zekes.

Thats why we stopped. I have working a little with his turn. I noticed it said there were 359 zekes used. he had 7 groups with a total of 291 planes max organizing. He had 5 groups on the map with zekes at 45 planes. The PBEM settings are upgrade and replacements on. So the first turn I ran with just looking at zero groups to see what was happing. A group of 9 upgraded to zekes between turns, but the pool used said like 13 where used or some thing like that. but his unused pool rose too. I am going to test more over the next couple of days, I had masters works do tonight, and see if I turn of auto upgrade and replacements for all planes does any thing. It probably won't, but I wonder if having the PBEM options before the game started set to upgrade and replacements on has an effect. Maybe these groups where all coming at around the same time a a problem is happing. So I am going to run the turns with all planes set not to fly and just move resources to Japan to see what happens. I don't expect much but worth a try.

Zekes have been organizing for months, yet they never pop up. As for resources, there should be a big shipment arriving in Japan. Also I just delivered 400,000 tons of oil a few turns earlier to the same port and the tankers are going back to Hong Kong.

I am really sorry to see this fantastic AAR stall out due to this problem.

I don't have time to track the multitude of AAR's in progress, but has anyone else encountered this particular problem?

It is sad to these this AAR slip away from the top page due to inactivity. After following this for months I really feel like I know you guys!

No matter what... this was an EPIC AAR! Well done guys!

I think it is done. I have been working to see what is wrong. It is not correctable at the moment. Maybe down the road it will be. In looking at his indusrty and such, he was in bad shape there. He had a huge land army, but supply through the Jungle of India might have been a problem. He would have meet level nine forts with 3000 assult points and with me having control of the air. I would have bombed his closest bases to the front slowing his supply way down. I had moved several Aussie divisons there and I evacted every unit or aleast part of it from Singapore Burma and they were rebulit. I could also move any troops I wanted to Indai becasue I controlled the seas. Yes it would have been a tough fight to score points, but we has all of 44 on to go. Also I was only going to assult one more atoll, and I think landing on non atoll bases is alot easier. The sad thing is we will never know what would have happened. We couldnever get back to where we are now, we both no what to do now and nothing would be a schock. I bet he would take PH again, if he brought al of his carriers like last time he would plaster every ship there. He would take all of the Island bases and maybe NZ this time becasue he would go alot quicker. I think I would do better in China, and that would help in Burma and malaya. Then maybe he would not attack USSR. Maybe when 1.5 comes out we will go at it again. Who knows what would happen, would it be as bloody, who knows?

It still might be interesting to go ahead and fight the land battle out in India (ignoring everything else) just to see if he could take it! You both are so confident of victory there!

We have started back up again and a month before we stop to see if the Zero problem is fixed. So maybe I can come back from the fringes of the map to win this one for the good guys.

Those ships decided to sail back to Karchi and I forgot, Oh well. I am Bombing him in Burma as I do not want him to invade India. He has so much to defend. I can see him trading bases for time and a better defense. The allied war machine is on the move where is it going next. If I where Dude I would use the little Chinese units I have running around for pilot buliding experience.

We will have to see this plan used again with all the 1.50 features and fixes running from the start.

Yep on the move, i am still worried I have not faced any heavy oppostion in a while. He may be up to some thing. The bases I am taking also have very little troops on them. I am sure he is buliding a better inter barrier so it will be fun when I get there. At the moment I think I have stopped his moves towards India. He has to ove through the Jungle and I can bomb him at will there so he must not have many supplies. I am going to go out on limb that I hold him out of India. I am even thinking of an offensive in that area as well but not right know. I have a few things up my sleve.

Zeta, I'm so glad to see you guys back with this AAR!

Ah, you said earlier that you had the opportunity to review Dude's dispositions while analyzing the bug. Have you been able to do a "brain dump" to clear those memories or do you feel you have an intel advantage now?

Zeta, I'm so glad to see you guys back with this AAR!

Ah, you said earlier that you had the opportunity to review Dude's dispositions while analyzing the bug. Have you been able to do a "brain dump" to clear those memories or do you feel you have an intel advantage now?

Boy that has been a long time ago early in January. I really don't remember much except he had a lot of AM5 groups that were organizing. But since we have started there have really been no airbattles, just some training and me taking back a few South Pacific bases. One thing I can say I have a ton of planes on recon since I have limited bases ath the moment I need to move out but I guess I am afraid of landing on atolls, which I should not be as Freeboy showed me. I also got rid of all of my notes I took of signet, those would come in handy at the moment, so I have to bulid those up again. My hardest thing is I have troops all over my bases in the pacific but ships every where else. I wish I had more Ap,s as those are my limiting factors at the moment to having any big operations.
