200x200 right now. That is 20km x 20km.

I would like to go larger but it will depend on system requirements.

I would like to see 500x500 but no promises.

The old Operational Art of War game had two different executables...one for really large scenarios. That may be a worse case situation.

Leipzig map requires more than 200*200
the whole HPS waterloo campaign front map, from charleroi to brussels is 560 * 400
please increase the size of the map
I have a pentium 4 with 1Mo of RAM, and most players have adequate configurations
please please please
size DO count

While, in principle, I agree that bigger is better (for maximum map size, anyway ), Not everyone is as 'well-endowed' as you - PIII 750MHz with only 384MB here, for example. Don't make assumptions...
Also, the smaller the footprint, the better it'll run - especially on machines that are multitasking.

Steve.

I have an AMD 950Mhz Thunderbird processor with 512MB of RAM. It is an old system and the 560x400 HPS map is no problem at all.

If RAM is the problem, it is extremely cheap these days.

Bigger maps is better.
