Just in case you haven't seen all of my cross references. On the Puresim forum, I was coyote203. Dandric, could you change my forum name on the ABF website to note this.

Thanks,

Don

Currently residing in the basement at 9-18, the Blue Sox have decided that changes need to be made. We'll listen to offers for anyone but veterans and low-ceilinged players are the more likely to be moved - plenty of outfielders and catchers available as well as few veteran arms.

Need to move to RC1 instead of Beta 6. Download and install it.

A funny thing happened to me... after 2 weeks of simming I realized that the changes I thought had been made before (bringing up all the actual '56 players from the minors) had not gone through.

Not surprisingly, once I DID move them up into where they should go, the team has performed significantly better. What a concept! Put the TALENTED players in the game and the team does much better... I should write a book on this.

Anyway, my Senators, though 1 game under .500, are happy in 2nd place for now. For now.

I'm downloading RC1 as I type and will be installing it right away.

And as soon as you do you'll need to upload changes again.

Interesting...

I've just downloaded and installed RC1, but I found that when I logged into the association, I wasn't prompted to download anything.

???

You should not be since I haven't uploaded (Since yesterday noon)

I got Brooklyn's changes okay, anyone else who uploaded roster moves after RC1's release will need to upload again.
(That would be Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati, Washington, New York Giants, and Akron)

Dandric, Washington's done.

I see what you meant in your post- I had misunderstood what you said; I thought an updated association file had to be downloaded again. No worries- all is taken care of, Washington is current now.

Thanks!

We've just begun interleague games.

Eddie Mathews has a nineteen game hitting streak going during which he has gone 39 for 81, .481, raising his average from .244 to .365.

Next simming will be Sunday, Aug 28th. I have to work that day 3pm till 11pm. I will try to sim and have the new file up by noon.

It didn't look so bad the last time around; we (Washington) were 2nd in our division even though we were 3 games under 500. Right now, things aren't looking very good.

I've made a few changes and all has been uploaded. I'd ask you to wish us luck, but that would be a conflict of your interests, no?

Dandric, who's running Milwalkee? The screenshot in the first post shows it's manager-less. Is that still the case? I really hope not.

Losing to other, human players is one thing- losing to a team completely run by the AI is downright pitiful.

I've been running Milwaukee.
