Day 23 sleeping by the mailbox.

Here it is! Yippee! Here it is!

No wait. It's just the new checkbooks. Rats. Looks like it's back into the washing machine box for me. But tomorrow is another day. Anything can happen. I'm feeling real good about tomorrow.

Hi Guys

Matrix always tries to ship the pre-orders first with the beta tester copies. Our production manager went over and above the call of duty to the point of shrink wrapping and driving them to the late night UPS drop off just to make sure we had just a few games at GenCon.

The rest of the games are being put together and shipped to our main warehouses in North America and Europe. In fact we are shipping all of our Euro pre-orders to our UK warehouse via FedEx Air to make sure our Euro customers wait the least amount of time possible. As soon as our warehouse tells us the games are there and shipping out I will let everyone know. Trust me it will be very soon.

Now Guys once you start getting your games I want to see your comments here on what you think.

Ok, any idea when Naval Warfare Store (www.nws-online.net/) will get their stock? I preordered on their site some time ago (due to problems with yours).... and am eagerly waiting...

Hi Dan

Once we get the games into our warehouse and the pre-orders are shipped we will start shipping to our dealers. Chris and I have been in contact about this last week.

We are aiming to get all pre-orders out at once, there should be no more than a day delay to get the pre-order games to our warehouse in the UK versus shipping them to the US warehouse.

So...? Just wondering if it shipped today or if it will be next week? I guess there's no chance it will be here tomorrow.

Definitely early next week. Some of the games are on the way to the warehouses, the rest will be on the way Monday. Some pre-orders should start shipping out Tuesday, the rest Wednesday. This is based on the latest info I have.

Regards,

- Erik

Hey,

You guys need to spend this time teaching new folks Forgotten Heroes, so we can assimilate them into the LnL Borg. The more folks we assimilate, the more orders we get for BoH. The more orders we get for BoH, the easier it will be to convince Eric and David to do the next game.

So get busy! Get into your local hobby store and teach Lock 'n Load.

I want to see more gaming and less guffing.

Best,
Mark

Hi Guys

The games have finally left our printers and are heading to our warehouse in North America and Euorpe. Once the games arrive in our warehouses they will start shipping the games right away to our customers. Once again we are truly sorry for the delays and never expected it to take so long to put the games together. The printer was so worried about making a mistake with the parts that they took it slow to make sure to get it right. Once again thank you for waiting for well and I sure you all will be very happy with the end product.

That's good news, but it doesn't sound like we'll be getting it in time for the Labor Day weekend. Too bad as I was hoping to take it to Conquest in order to recruit some players. Definitely better to wait and get a quality product, however...

I can't promise, but some orders may arrive before the weekend if they are among the first shipped and the shipping option chose was a fast one. I'm checking with our warehouse on this daily. As long as you have your order number, you can review the status through our online store and see when it ships out as well.

Regards,

- Erik

Well, I checked the online store, and it told me my order was "backordered." So that's not much help.

I'm still showing pending shipment and backordered as well. Who'd of guessed that I'd have gotten it quicker if I lived in France?

My order status shows the same thing. Pending Shipment and Backordered. Kind of annoying that it's in Europe already, but we can't get it here. Should have had it sent to my cousin in England and had her mail it to me. Oh well, maybe next time.

Yes, we have a soft spot for the French. We promise to do better next time, and post in bold letters that the French will be the first to receive their copies of the game.
