Just got WPO,
Looks great while getting to the First turn.
Extremely Bloody dissapointed to see they are using the vanilla WITP map. There are much better examples available. Mustve been a cheap option.
Aircraft & Ship pics are a bit blurry (I have my glasses on!!) and sometimes the background isnt enough of a contrast.
The hypothesis to the game is great, and the "Slow" action is also suspenseful, will my DD TF run into a BB TF, got no search aircraft so you are driving blind!
Cant wait to get my Heavy Bombers with a range of 1 (Thats extended range) into action.
Played 10 days, pretty quickly. The Jap Hordes have swamped The Phillipines, my Asiatic Fleet has caused about 10 losses but just got pummeled by some BB's at Legaspi. On turn 10 the Japs bombarded Singapore, and discovered some 14"? guns are there.
Well worth it, 61 Sth Pacific Pesos must be about 40 USD.
