The hack at the Depot:
Ok Bernie is on it and so apparently are other enforcement bodies. This though is not the end of the world.
Yes possibly a lot of useful information may have been damaged and lost. This just means people will have to dig again and get it back, possible with less “heavy discussion. It is work but still has to be done to get things back on track.
Why it happened, it unfortunately an issue between Bernie and the service provide. I am not being critical of either as I don’t know the situation.
Yes it sucks but as anyone in any force will know “s*** happens” get on with the job, that is us.
Someone here said and equated the MG forums as a life boat.
Simply what crap! All the various sites dealing with SPWAW are there for all and not to provide backup for you favourite site.
You should be participating to an extent on all. AND yes I do to an extent. I don’t post here often but I do read what has been said and covered.
So do you really bother with Matrix, Strategy Zone Online and others?
The Depot is a great site but so are the others. Try some lateral thinking and approach to things.
The new proposed OOB from Michael Wood:
I think what he has suggested as well as from the comments I have seen about the place about it, it will appear to be a great asset to the game.
The only proviso is include CSV input output.
NO I am not going into a detailed discussion about what type of CSV to use. That if anyone really wants to know is Michael’s decision.
YES I do know what I am talking about as at least I have written my own OOB editor.
What Michael has proposed is even better than what is already available from anyone.

Sorry but the USMC is not my best background.
I would have only one suggestion and that is to use a redesigned MOD for the UMSC forces, just for this. I know that ‘Gunny’ has worked on his for ages so it could be a good place to promote his great and dedicated work in this area.
Again just a mere suggestion.
Well I suppose I could push fro some more NG stuff, e.g.: Milne Bay, (at least there were some, though few, US troops there)
