Ah...yes, my wife has similar issues. I've never been seasick in my life. Doesn't seem to bother me, but I've not been tested by any serious weather, either. Regular ole waves...no prob.

niceguy2005 -> RE: Test Thread (1/25/2006 1:16:20 AM)

Funny thing, i NEVER get motion sick. I once bragged about that to a chopper pilot and he did his best to get me airsick - if you ever have the chance to take a joy ride in a chopper with a carzy pilot think twice about it - but he was the one who ended up hurling. [:D]

What does me in are those damn movies where the camera shakes the entire film. I came out of the Blair Witch movie having broken out in a cold sweat, pale as a ghost and sick to my stomach, and it wasn't the plot that did it either.

rtrapasso -> RE: Test Thread (1/25/2006 2:06:49 AM)

A friend of mine was a crewman on a C-130, and they decided to play a trick on the Korean troops they were hauling. The C-130 would fly nap of the earth, and everyone was prone to get airsick. To make sure they did, the aircrew faked getting sick with hidden plastic bags full of chicken noodle soup.

Unfortunately, when the Koreans got sick they puked up kim-chee, and that got the aircrew sick from the smell... and everyone was upchuking in unison. [sm=vomit-smiley-020.gif]

niceguy2005 -> RE: Test Thread (1/25/2006 2:22:55 AM)

LOL. The best laid plans...

I've had the misfortune of smelling lots of kim-chee, that stuff smells bad before it goes down. It must be doubly bad coming back out.

I never even made it all the way thru "Blair Witch Project". Had to walk out about 30 minutes in to avoid soiling the theatre floor.

However, from what I did see those idiots deserved to get off'd for stupidity. After about the third time they jumped over the same stream I wanted to strangle them myself. If you are lost and come across water, FOLLOW IT DOWNSTREAM!!!! One of the most basic and simple ways to get un-lost.

LOL my sentiments exactly. As far as I'm concerned they got off easy. After an hour and a half of listening to them moan and whine I was cheering for the Witch.[sm=00000643.gif]
