Well, the Chinese bred them to look like that, i guess. Go figure! It does make a heck of an impression, though.

The website that had this said they had a whole "pack"(the word it doesn't seem right) of Chinese Crested Hairless dogs. This particular one was quite nuts when they got it from the pound (and the photo dates from the nuts period), but after a couple of days with the others-of-its-kind, it started acting normally. Even the owners were impressed with the hideous nature of this particular beast, apparently.
