Not if I can just kill Lt. Putnam

May have to send a SNLF hit team to take him out.

ha!...you think i would throw all my eggs in one basket like that??...fool!, i already have another pilot with 15 kills. Not only that, but i also have a Dutch Catalina pilot with a kill. A zero pilot looked at him the wrong way, and he was sent cartwheeling into the ocean.[:D]

Freakin' Dutch[sm=00000023.gif][sm=00000018.gif]

Must have been an Oscar he shot down. I am sure I lost a few to aggressive tropical birds that got defensive of their turf. I have only 5 Oscar pilots with kills (1 each). Their lifespan in combat is very short. I have Sallys with more kills.

KDonovan -> Air Report (7/8/2006 2:45:19 AM)

As i await my next turn, here's a summary of the Air losses to date as we approach the 6th month of the war.

Overal the Allies have loss 2,742 planes, while the Japanese loss 2,074

RUPD3658 -> What has me puzzled (7/12/2006 12:48:11 AM)

Can't figure this out out:

[image]local://upfiles/7488/1E7A558139BC4332A7A79A9171339B8E.jpg[/image]

India or OZ make no sense due to the good rail lines. Sri Lanka can't reach any freindly base. Same with China.

No C-47s captured on the ground at recently captured bases in India to indicate that they are even in theater.

Much be Noeuma area trying to avoid Bettys/Mines

KDonovan -> RE: What has me puzzled (7/12/2006 12:53:39 AM)

must've been op losses from the 6in CD guns i can apparently move with C47s [8|]

He may be flying supplies at extended range. That's a good way to use up C-47s, particularly in thunderstorms. He may have also forgotten to take some off of training. That's another great way to lose planes, again, particularly in thunderstorms.

Can we get a screen shot of India??

If the Allies come out with 3 lost CV's vs. 2 Jap CV's lost, that is a win in the long run. [:D]

p.s. Training camp starts at the end of this month!!![&o][&o]
Who are those "tenants" going to start at QB??

KDonovan -> RE: India (my embarssement) (7/12/2006 6:45:27 AM)

sure...but since this a joint AAR...theres not alot of information to be had. But you can see the order of battle over the last 2 months there with my picture below. IMO i believe Tom is gonna need more forces to take India, as i'm pretty entrenched in the major cities.

quote:

If the Allies come out with 2 lost CV's vs. 3 Jap CV's lost, that is a win in the long run.

actually the Allies (me) lost 3 CV's and japan (Tom) lost 2 CV's. Still a "win" in the long run, but in the short run i'll be severely hampered with only 5 CV's (3 american, 2 UK) versus 5 IJN fleet CV's, the Hiyo (wouldn't exactly call it a CV), and numerous smaller ones.

quote:

p.s. Training camp starts at the end of this month!!!
Who are those "tenants" going to start at QB??

haha...forgot about football. Been too busy watching the Mets. However, regarding the Jets i'm lead to believe that everything is riding once again on Penningtons shoulder. So basically the Jets have the same odds of winning the super bowel as i have of winning this game by getting less than the 1:3 points in order to prevent autovictory in 1944 (currently its like 27000 pts to 7000)

RUPD3658 -> RE: India (my embarssement) (7/12/2006 3:13:33 PM)

Hit a brick wall at both ends of India. Bombay may prove to be my Stalingrad while Jorhat and it's lvl 9 forts and 3x woods bonus may keep my forces from breaking in from Burma.

Invasion forces have departed from Java for as yet classified destinations. Things will get exciting again in about 2-3 weeks.

In China the foot race continues with all Chinese troops in the South racing for Chungking. Currently China only holds Chungking, Chentu, Yunan, and Kunnming. 5K worth of Jap troops are in pursuit.

No real reason to:

1. Train C-47s
2. Move supplies in Oz/India due to rail lines

Must be New Calidonia area.

I am just glad these losses help offset my Sally Ops losses. The freakin' thinks must be made out of rice paper and chop sticks since I can't move them from the hanger to the runway without suffering an Op loss.

I usually come to this website first and check the AAR and other things. Then, it's off to my two NY Giants message boards to check what is going on there. I don't mind the Mets winning, as long as the "Evil Empire" doesn't win enough to make the playoffs, I will be happy in MLB. [:D]

It is nice to have occasional screen shots as I look at enough AAR's that I cannot always keep the current situations clear.

Make sure he Japs stay away from Karachi. Don't want another AAR complaining about the "Star Trek" effect. [:D]

RUPD3658 -> RE: What has me puzzled (7/12/2006 4:44:40 PM)

Karachi will fall last. Unless Kenny totally screws up and gets cut off (which he is too smart to do) I don't think there is any way I can take it. I am stuck at Bombay facing 1-2 full stregth units and a bunch of tattered ones. If I can't dislodge them with most of my forces then 4-5 UK Divisons at Karachi should be able to hold on forever. I hope to just bottle him up there. Of course any units that get cut off and surrender before reaching Karachi will be a bonus!

Hate the Mets but hate the Yankees more. Philly still has a chance at the Wild Card so I haven't given up hope yet.

Looking forward to Seeing the Eagles without TO. Hopefully we can provide him with a career ending injury when he comes to town. [sm=00000028.gif]

here's my intel...

56th Brigade is loaded on AP,Turusima Maru moving to Trimcomalee
38th Division is loaded on AP,Hakozake Maru moving to Madras
48th Naval Guard Unit is loaded on AK,Kansai Maru moving to Madras
