bstarr -> RE: Filler Names (5/20/2006 3:54:43 AM)

hey, sarge, just noticed the thread.

Add a "J. Byron Starr", if you don't mind. Fighter pilot would be nice, but I'm not picky. Any old rank will do; 2nd lt, I guess.

Also, I knew a Frederick Davis Jr. who flew in the 56th FG (I think that was the unit) in Korea. He was one of America's first black jet fighter pilots after integration; he was also the only black man in his unit at the time. He died last year; I figure he'd be tickled to be added one war early if there's room in his old unit. If not, maybe add him to the Tuskegee units. He may haunt us for that, though. He was rather proud of his unit.

Suggested filler name to honor a friend:

Joseph Orsini, 1st LT USAAF, P-47 pilot (unit your choice)

My friend's real name is Jessica but they didn't have women in the AF back then! :) In real life she was in the Air Force and served in Desert Storm. I'd like to honor her in the game.

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (5/26/2006 12:01:03 PM)

1st Lt, Joseph Orsini, 358th FG

If it is not too late, may I go into an RAF squadron, please?

C M Cordle

Many thanks for all the hard work you are doing to upgrade this fantastic game.

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (6/12/2006 4:01:30 AM)

if you can, give me a first name please

also, you want to be in a bomber unit or a fighter ? fighterbomber ??

rhondabrwn -> RE: Filler Names (6/12/2006 7:10:19 AM)

Do you have a WASP (Women's Air Service Pilots) squadron for me? [:D]

Anyone heard of any Amazon gals sneaking into a Spit during the Battle of Britain? If so, count me in!

I guess you could put me into a Mosquito Squadron as "R. G. Brown" though, eh? Perhaps a recon unit?

goodboyladdie -> RE: Filler Names (6/12/2006 10:16:58 AM)

Sorry Hard Sarge. First name Carl and I'll go in any RAF unit you are finding it hard to fill.

Many thanks

Carl

Well, we could always go with Ron Da Brown, or Rhon Da Brown ???

Kind of does look like some of the SA pilots ???

goodboyladdie -> RE: Filler Names (6/28/2006 2:37:18 PM)

Just got back from holiday. Very pleased. Thanks very much Hard Sarge. I hope you have given yourself a decent squadron?

Hard Sarge -> RE: Filler Names (6/28/2006 2:58:34 PM)

ME ?

Well, I was already added in a long time ago

I was in the 56th FG a few OOB's back :)

but I may have to change the name as it is not how I have been adding them

(H.S. Lorence, may go ahead and add my real name and use H.S. as the middle name)

LOL in one of my games, I even had a kill !

Richrd -> RE: Filler Names (6/29/2006 12:24:48 AM)

What a great idea! I may ask too much, but here goes. My grandfather flew B-29s in the pacific. Richard Warren. My Uncle George Warren flew Phantoms over Hanoi.
