The stone of destiny is the name of the Scottish stone.... Supposedly warming the rump of the Queen at the present although there are those that say Edward the 1st was sold a dummy when he stole it and the real stone was hidden.....!!!

Didnt the RN own Copenhagen for a while ? The Danes certainly owned large chunks of the Western Isles and far north of Scotland for a while and I think parts of Galloway

Well, my family (both sides) is from the UK, though since I was born here in the US I don't really count for this poll. However, I speak English after a fashion, have family living in the UK and have been to visit several times. There's also a rumor going around that if you shake my family tree hard enough a Frenchman (Frenchwoman maybe) will fall out so perhaps that would make me 99%[;)] European or something like that.
