Will this game have a mixed order formation? The famous "column-line-column" formation, except for late war scenario's when the French didn't use it anymore due to decrease in infantry skill level.

I may be remembering incorrectly, but I think this was mentioned many months ago as being in the game. Surely this game is approaching release.

I thought L'Order de Mix was a Chandlerism and that really Regiments would form whichever and whatever formations were appropriate for the situation. There really weren't regimental infantry formations in the same sense that Battalions had them.

At the scale of this game, you would put a column in one hex, a line in the next and a column in the next.  Mixed Order.
