Raverdave -> RE: Central Pacific (1/15/2007 9:31:57 AM)

Yes indeed mate, things are going very well.  I can see that things might start to get nasty in Burma now that Singers has fallen.  The Pi can not hold out much more than a few days.  Could even hold out for a week or so and that will release another  hundred thousand jap troops which I suspect will be used to start strengthing his line.  I can't see the boy wonder doing any really big operations as we race towords the middle of '42.

Raverdave -> RE: Central Pacific (1/17/2007 3:08:26 PM)

Little to report.....things are vwery vwery qwiet.

That's actually rather strange. Luskan must be aware that time is not on his side. The PI still needs pacifying, and your new island bases must be getting stronger by the day.

Raverdave -> RE: Central Pacific (1/18/2007 4:00:17 AM)

Agreed.......The PI is on it's last legs......a couple of shock attacks will bring the entire place down, but Luskan seems a bit gun shy.   The Marshalls will now cost him dearly if he want's them back.[:D]

Oliver Heindorf -> RE: Central Pacific (1/25/2007 11:24:53 PM)

Luskan coward or what ?
[:'(]

Luskan -> RE: Central Pacific (1/27/2007 2:13:46 AM)

Must be [;)]

MineSweeper -> RE: Central Pacific (1/27/2007 7:04:19 AM)

Come on Luskan, I look forward to reading this AAR[:)]...you can kick some serious butt regarding this minor hicup[;)]....KB rules the seas[:-]

Raverdave -> RE: Central Pacific (1/27/2007 11:22:53 AM)

Well as far as KB ruling the sea......little has been seen of the IJN Deathstar of late.  I much prefer to see them bombing ships and ports because it is easier to keep track of where they are.  It is much more unnerving NOT knowing where they are.

Luskan -> RE: Central Pacific (1/27/2007 4:08:29 PM)

Well they arent sitting still and that is all I'll say.

Things are quiet (and life is interfering with the speed of our gameplay for the moment) however I'm confident that the PI is soon going to be all mine (yes, I know "soon" is a relative term).  Not sure what exactly to do in the Marshalls, but I've got some plans - which unfortunately are contigent upon Raver's next move.  If it is where I'm predicting/hoping, then I'll solve my little problem in the islands and be back on top of things before you can say "I thought I heard a banana!".

If Raver doesn't do what I'm hoping then the troops earmarked for my counter offensive will be used to strengthen my line.

Must admit - I'm disappointed with the lack of sunk transport shipping.

IMHO you sank quite enough of it during Raver's initial assaults!

MineSweeper -> RE: Central Pacific (1/30/2007 10:41:50 AM)

Bumpy- Be-Dee-Bump....

Raverdave -> RE: Central Pacific (1/31/2007 7:16:02 AM)

Yeah I'm waiting for the boy blunder to send me the next move.[:@]

Luskan -> RE: Central Pacific (2/4/2007 3:59:26 AM)

Turn sent - same as the last 6 or 7 really.  Basically Raver's got a little surface combat group making runs into the lower indonesian chain swinging at my transport groups - he's sunk some PCs and 1 AP and a MSW - damaged a few more AKs but more nuisance than real trouble.

The troulbe is that my bloody nells and betties aren't plastering those ABDA units with torpedoes.  Looking into it.

In other news I landed on the top end of Sumatra and took Bankha (IIRC) without struggle.  Lots of starving allied troops in the SRA atm.

Luskan -> RE: Central Pacific (2/8/2007 1:45:52 PM)

If you look very closely, you'll find something every Jap player is happy to see ;)

Got to cheer about something!

As Sneer lives up to his name ... What amounts of fuel and supplies did the IJA bag there?

Raverdave -> RE: Fall of Manila (2/12/2007 12:30:00 AM)

There was a good amount of fuel left at Manila, but zero supplies.

Capt. Harlock -> RE: Fall of Manila (2/15/2007 10:29:50 PM)

Why the sudden quiet? We want to see what Luskan is going to do about Raver's insufferable presumption -- capturing Japanese bases before August 1942!

Raverdave -> RE: Fall of Manila (2/16/2007 2:29:13 AM)

Luskan is busy in the middle of his company being taken over, so I am getting only two turns a week from him (slack bugger).

Raverdave -> RE: Fall of Manila (2/19/2007 3:46:46 AM)

I got a turn from Luskan this weekend [&o].  But stuff all happened [:(]  No action to report at all and the worse thing is that Luskan reports that he will be away all week.[:@]

Raverdave -> RE: Fall of Manila (3/16/2007 4:35:32 AM)

Where the hell has Luskan gone?????[sm=fighting0056.gif]

O.K., that latest emoticon is pushing the borders of obscene. But you have a point -- we want to see more action!

AU Tiger_MatrixForum -> RE: Fall of Manila (4/1/2007 8:32:43 AM)

I found out what happened to Luskan.
