Sorted....

Issue was although i had 'upgraded' to Vista some of the pre-exisiting programmes are no longer recognized as existing..... Java being one of them.

A 'reinstall' of java and its working fine.

And WITP also runs great in Vista, I am just a bit puzzled by these constant security checks that go on.

Thanks

Roger

Glad you got it to work.

You can disable the security checks (part of Vista's "User Account Control", or UAC), but Microsoft recommends against it. If you disable them, an annoying reminder will appear in your system tray -- but you can disable this too! I disabled them briefly, but I changed my mind. Occasionally it actually is helpful to be reminded that I'm about to do something important; sometimes I need to be slowed down. Also, I suppose it's theoretically possible that the UAC checks might alert me that something I didn't want to install/delete/whatever is about to take place.

Nonetheless, if you want to disable the checks, you can find lots of guides via Google on how to do so. I found this one:

I'm learning to live with it. Its just a bit disconcerting when it says i can't access something I know I created because it doesn't belong to me.....and I have to go through a rigmarole of assigning permissions.

Still, its making me a better person......[:D]

I got the decoder to load and it looks great. Does anyone have clusterfiles for CHS Scen 155.

The cluster files that FeurerKrieg posted should work the same for all of the current CHS 2.08 scenarios. The only difference between them is the air combat model AFAIK.

Those loaded ok but were for stated Japanese - I am playing allied. On the resources, it shows no clusters.

Just starting a new PBEM as Allies with CHS Scen 155. Has anyone created or posted cluster files for the Allies in the last 8 months? I know they are not needed for the Allies, but I found the Industry Tab information very useful as the Allies in Stock Scen 15.

Thanks!

Woos - noticed in the AE thread you had ver 5.0 on a post you did, is that available or still in development?
