There are very few English sources on the Hungarian conflicts in For Liberty! and 1848, so I am adding a few links for those who want to learn more about them.

Here's another one, which is a chapter in a complete online book: http://www.hungarian-history.hu/lib/thou/thou09.htm

Thanks

This is very helpful in learning about this war. The game is very good.

Here's the digitized version of an 1859 book written by Otto Wenkstern called "History of the War in Hungary in 1848 and 1849" : http://mek.oszk.hu/04900/04962/

The page is in Hungarian, but the book is in English, and it is a downloadable PDF file.

Here is a page which lists various online books, including autobiographies of Gorgei and Klapka: http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=%22Hungary%20--%20History%20Uprising%20of%201848-1849%22

I'm curious if anybody can help me. I noticed towns that aren't populated in majority by ethnic Hungarian tend to rebel when there's no garrison left. My question is: which towns will never rebel for Hungary/Austria in 1848 and For Liberty?

Another question: Is there anything special about towns in Wallachia and Moldavia? I noticed Hungary can capture them, unlike Ottoman Belgrade.

I also noticed 2 mistakes:
Botosani (Botoşani) wasn't a Austrian town and was never part of the empire, it should be occupied by Russia at the time.
Brassó (Braşov) should be a large city. It had 21.782 inhabitants in 1850 according to the Romanian wiki while Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca) had only 19.612.

EDIT: actually noticed that in For Liberty! the towns show their base loyalty but I never saw it for 1848. Does anybody know where the loyalty can be seen in 1848?
